Saw their booth at the Sarasota home show 1/ Made an appointment for visit by their representative They called several days later to confirm - with a condescending list of do's and don'ts for us to agree to I agreed and confirmed the appointment and set aside the one and a half hours to be "attentive and not distracted" We waited for over two hours and NOBODY showed up - or called We were concerned that something tragic might have happened to the rep I called the next day and only got the automated phone business STILL - WE HAVE HAD ABSOLUTELY NO CONTACT FROM THEM This is unbelievable What kind of customer relations does this company have I have just read the only other reviews posted here - both of them negative! I will definitely caution anyone from doing business with this company

Storm Shield sells their product with promises of lower insurance rates and lower utility bills I replaced all windows and sliding doors in April Since then my electric bills have actually been higher by about $a month I've contacted my insurance company and they do not offer a discount unless you also replace your garage door and entry door with wind resistant options Windows demonstrated during sales presentation seem thicker than those installed, but can't actually prove that You should take this into account before purchasing In my case, it actually took over months to get everything completed properly I had requested (from the salesman) that completion would be by April 1, it was finally completed on July Wrong windows were delivered from manufacturer and even broken windows were delivered Several attempts to get everything scheduled were cancelled due to lack of installers Installers were very personable and efficient

Sales rep arrived on time and was knowledgeable about Storm Shield's products. His demonstrations of the windows were VERY impressive. We had already had appointments with two sales reps from other window companies. He brought in an actual window for us to see and even had samples of his competitors' products for us to compare. Although we had no intention of signing a contract, we did and are very much looking forward to having our new windows and doors. Storm Shield's products will most definitely improve the value of our home and cut our A/C bills down significantly not to mention the savings on our insurance. We feel we made a very wise decision.
