Storm Towing

My truck broke down one morningI called my road side assistance and they sent Storm Towing to tow my truckThe driver was rude on the phone to me and then was rude to my friend who was kind enough to wait with my truck so I could go on to workWhen the driver loaded my truck, he damaged the steering damper shockThis made the truck not steer correctlyThe driver came out and looked at it - tried to say he didn't do itIf he would have backed his tow truck up to my truck, his tow arm would have lined right up with the damaged shockHe then said to let him know if it caused any damage to the steering once I got my truck back on the road, which it did - it wouldn't turn to the right at allI told the driver that if he would just pay for the new steering damper shock, I could put it on and we'd be done with the issueHe wanted me to pay for it & then give him the receiptI asked him if I was to take the receipt to his office & he said no - he didn't want them to know about itI told him that I would order the part and he could go pay for it and I'd pick it upWhen the part arrived, the tow driver had blocked my number from calling himSo I called his officeThey were rude and said it would take a few days for them to decide what they were going to do about itI had already been without a vehicle for days because of this issueI'm going ahead and filing the claim with my insurance and hopefully they can get my money back from Storm Towing

My truck broke down one morning. I called my road side assistance and they sent Storm Towing to tow my truck. When the driver loaded my truck, he damaged the steering damper shock. This made the truck not steer correctly. The driver came out and looked at it - tried to say he didn't do it. If he would have backed his tow truck up to my truck, his tow arm would have lined right up with the damaged shock. He then said to let him know if it caused any damage to the steering once I got my truck back on the road, which it did - it wouldn't turn to the right at all. I told the driver that if he would just pay for the new steering damper shock, I could put it on and we'd be done with the issue. He wanted me to pay for it & then give him the receipt. I asked him if I was to take the receipt to his office & he said no - he didn't want them to know about it. I told him that I would order the part and he could go pay for it and I'd pick it up. When the part arrived, the tow driver had blocked my number from calling him. So I called his office. They were rude and said it would take a few days for them to decide what they were going to do about it. I had already been without a vehicle for 4 days because of this issue. I'm going ahead and filing the claim with my insurance and hopefully they can get my money back from Storm Towing.
