On December 22, 2017 I contracted Storme's Snow Removal (***) to plow my property for the 2017/2018 season as my previous service provider was no longer in business. Within the contract is states that snow will be removed upon 2" of accumulation. Over the Christmas holiday's a friend of mine (65 yrs old, 2 heart attacks) removed the snow on 3 occasions due to *** not showing up and my needing to get out without falling. I sent *** a photo on Saturday asking when he was coming to plow and he said he would not because he said there wasn't 2" even after I sent a photo. A number of text message exchanges later, I was quite frustrated as I have a disability which makes shovelling very difficult, *** thought he could just simply push me to the point to have me cancel my contract (he has a clause which he can charge $100 per plow upon cancellation)seeing as he's plowed on 2 perhaps 3 occasions, which would only allow for a credit of approx. $100.
This is absurd. When I asked why such as clause was included, *** said so customers would not cancel part way through the season due to a lack of snow, where no services were needed. I now believe it's so he has full control of if and when he provides services, leaving me with no services nor money to contract a more reputable company.
I have never dealt with any service company that would leave a "disabled" customer with very little income without service and he's not responded to any of my phone calls or a number of text messages to resolve this.
In addition, I have a 5 week old grandson that I have been helping to care for during the week and this situation is causing me a lot of undue stress and due to the volume of snow outside this unresolved situation is prohibiting me from leaving my home.
I'm seeking the Revdex.com's assistance with this situation.

Other (requires explanation) Delivery of the services or a total refund of $400 so I may contract a snow removal company to remove the snow from my property.
The customer chose to cancel her contract as that what was said in an text discussion on January 13, 2018. Her reasoning was that she expected me to remove her driveway ice. However, ice removal is NOT in her contract. Ice removal comes at an additional fee which she refused in our initial discussion. Also in her contract is that I have within 8 hours AFTER the snowfall to remove her snow. Again, this is what she agreed to in her contract. If she decides to have her neighbour to remove her snow at a time convenient to the customer, that is her prerogative but again this was not in her contract.
Though I feel for the customer's situation, I am trying to run a business to the best of my capability. I always ensured that her driveway was cleaned. I had no issue continuing with this contract but as mentioned, the customer canceled it. Since I went there 7 times (twice on Dec 22, 2017, Dec 24, Dec 25, Dec 29, Jan 3 and Jan 8, I do not owe her money (again, based on her contract).
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
He's not telling the truth. First of all to suggest he removed snow on all those days is untrue - IT DID NOT SNOW on those days!! I have photos of 2" of snow from the day I asked him to clear the snow. It wasn't ice.
In addition, I DID NOT CANCEL my contract.
I need to have my property cleared as per my contract which states within 8 hours of an accumulation of a minimum of 2".
In addition to there not being snow or the days my friend cleared the snow, I have security camera proof that in fact he only cleared my snow on December 22 & 24.
His suggestion that he cleared my snow on those dates is an outright lie.
