repair of your 2010 [redacted]. I don’t have a definite release date of the part, however I am being told it will be end of 3rd quarter or early 4th quarter of 2017. Again I am sorry for the delay, and know it is frustrating. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  
  I will accept this temporary fix because driving the car with impaired visibility due to the melting of the dash is an extreme safety hazard. To ensure this is a temporary fix, please keep this file active until permanent parts are place on my vehicle. This temporary fix will be of no cost to me.

Northside Lexus is sorry for the delay and know it is frustrating. We have parts on order to repair vehicles on our list and are waiting to receive these parts from the manufacture Lexus and will repair the vehicle as soon as we receive parts for this vehicle.

for the delay on the repair of the vehicle. It is truly a parts issue, I am not able to get parts from Lexus to repair your vehicle. I could not accommodate you if you were willing to pay, I would gladly repair your vehicle if I could get the parts needed to repair your car. If the glare is impairing your ability to drive, I can order and install a custom made cover for your dash until the parts come in. Again I am very sorry for the delay and this is the only option I can think of to make your car more comfortable to drive.
