I bought a house from this builder in July of 2018. In October we notice that there was a leak in the main window on the second floor of this town house. We are now in Feb of 2020 and the leak has still not been fixed. The last fix attempt was in Nov of 2019. I have sent multiple emails to the builders as it is still under warranty and have gotten no response.
The problem is there is no timeline of when this will get fixed and feels like a unacceptable amount of time to fix a issue that should have never happened.
Storybuilt takes great pride in delivering a quality home,
but where we may have fallen short, being responsive and complete in all of our
warranty work. Storybuilt is currently engage with Mr. to
ensure the completion of his warranty request. We are working with a 3rd party inspection and testing firm as well as the manufacture of the materials
on his home to ensure the proper warranty completion. In fact, barring
any weather, we anticipate completion in the coming week. Mr.
has been provided a communication from our Warranty team and Division President
eight times since November 2019, and we are committed to continuing the
conversation as we work towards resolution. As always, Storybuilt is committed to honoring our limited
warranty, and in the case of Mr.’s request, we are working closely
with all parties involved and we believe to have this work completed in the
coming week.
