Straight line contracting was hired to remove old chimney and install new triple lined chimney Install new windows and replace exterior door Also replace some trim around door Add foam insulation in attic and walls in part of the shed All of this work was to be done on my shed Was also to put a rain gutter on my porch He bought a rain gutter, his kids scratched it all up so he painted it and the color now does not match my house, never replaced it like he said he would He replaced chimney with only a double lined chimney Never sealed the chimney properly so it always leaked Used spray foam insulation sprayed on the roof to try to seal it which latter ignited and most likely caused the fire in my shed which resulted in major damage Never finished job Ring to chimney was still sitting in his garage months latter at time of fire Removed outside sheet metal on shed to apply spray foam and never replaced many of the screws used to hold the sheet metal in place I found all of the extra screws lying all over on the ground and in my driveway I had to use a magnet to pick them up so I did not puncture one of my tires Never replaced the trim around my door Installed door [redacted] on exterior door improperly so that it would not stay shut and really hard to get it to lock because I had to lock it all of the time to keep it shut Installed one window improperlyAlways leaked and looked horrible Charged me for foam insulation on all walls and attic but when some metal was removed to check the foam insulation on a wall I found most places had little to no foam, only bare steel walls Attic was also improperly insulatedDid not silicone properly around window because it leaked Demanded payment in full up front in cash only Brought to of his little kids on the job and they also did damage When confronted he refused to come back to fix or complete anythingI had hired this guy in the past and he had done an ok job so that is why I did pay him up front with cash
