Northern Indiana BB: We have spoken with *** *** multiple times over the last several weeksAlthough she was feeding our product
to her dog that got sick and the experience was a very unpleasant one, we do not believe the issues experienced by her dog are related to our food
We have a Veterinary Bill Reimbursement Committee that reviews reimbursement requests like ***'s, and this review includes all vet records, notes and tests by our veterinarian consultant
The accusations that we have not been honest, open or transparent with her are untrueMs*** provided us with the product code date information during her initial contact with us on 7/21/If we have incorrect information it is because Ms*** did not provide accurate information to us
The accusation that we are not being honest about receiving any additional complaints is untrue as wellWe have reviewed our records and confirm that we have no other reported issues for the food Ms*** was feeding, in general, or specific to the code date that she provided to us
The food poisoning (Campylobacter) for which the dog tested positive is naturally found in the guts of many healthy pets (66% dogs and 34% cats)Campylobacter is very sensitive (fragile) microorganismIt does not live long in the dry state and is in fact very susceptible to oxygen tensions as well as spices and salt levelsIt is difficult to keep alive in the laboratory and even more difficult to do so in a dry pet food product
Ms*** admitted in her complaint to the BB that her dog did swallow a sock on 7/We are not not surprised that the dog experienced and continues to experience digestive and stool issues on an ongoing basis as a result of this occurrence
Ms*** has been very vocal on our Holistic Select Facebook page, threatened legal action, as well as threatened to get local news/media involved if we do not pay her veterinarian billsHowever, while we understand that her experience was unpleasant, we do not believe the issues are related to our food

My vet clearly stated that the sock that *** vomited did not and could not cause this infection It had to come from the dog food The lot numbers are the same that myself the FDA and the U.SDept of aggracultra has and pet valu where the food was bought and returned When doing a conference call with Barbra from holistic select and Anne from pet valu the numbers where read off correctly Still in my option this food cause my puppy to become very sick and I am still saying they are responsible for the vet bill Concerning making threats I have not I have contacted the news team and I have also asked holistic select for the name and from number of their insurance company and to this day I do not have it The only thing they gave me was a address to their legal dept no phone number I also asked them to test the food they have and do a volunteer recall and they refused *** was a very healthy dog until this one bag of food I had to make her eat by hand feeding She kept snubbing it *** is a service dog trained to do nose work for my diabetes so she can tell when something is not right I am still trying to resolve this billing issue I feel holistic select is responsible also I feel they need to let the public know that all welpet products have ingerdance from China in it Please forward me the name and phone number for your insurance company

First off I never said my other dogs had a problem with this food ***'s bag and lot number was different then *** and ***You asked if I would be willing to try your product again and I agreed *** once again subbed the food I guess with her being a service dog and trained in nose work she remembered what happened to her from the last bag I am asking for well pet to take some responsibility for what happened to *** and pay at least half of her medicalI never had s problem with this food u till now The bags of food you sent where donated to a shelter but with warning of what happened to *** and that there is product from China I would like to resolve this matter I'm waiting for a letter from my vet stating that camploybacter is food poisoningOnce I get that I will send it to the Revdex.com My heart still says *** got food poisoning from your food
