I used Straight Up this year for 2 major projects - painting the exterior of our house and re-shingling our roof, with all the repairs that went into doing both, including removing and patching new siding and checking for rot under the shingles. [redacted] is an outstanding guy to work with - he texts or calls to let you know the schedule and all the details up front. His workers are polite and efficient, and they clean up well after a job. We also used Straight Up to repair a deck we thought just needed a paint job. As the third guy to give an estimate, [redacted] was the only one to show us that the deck construction was precarious and needed shoring up, which he did. I cannot state enough how fortunate my wife and I feel about discovering Straight Up Home Improvement. We have used them for a variety of projects in our large and older home over the last 5 years totaling almost $30,000 (when we actually did estimates before only using Straight Up we know this work would have been excessively more than this). These have ranged from incredible cabinetry (changing the section of a stained built-in full wall cabinet space that included a spot for a 27 inch TV to a space to accommodate a 65 inch TV that is so seamless it is impossible to discern that such a change has been made), skilled repairs such as involving a front door that continually had trouble closing (others had kept changing the door hinge but [redacted] and his crew fixed it by correcting the situation underneath the house/door) and also fixing the inside of a porch roof that was separating itself from the rest of the house (again, by recognizing the structure of the problem in relation to the surrounding parts), totally replacing various windows and their surrounding infrastructure (due to rotting wood), a complete new roof (including a metal part), deck work, and more. [redacted] will out do your own strictest quality check - his commitment to quality has to be experienced to be fully appreciated.
