Review: On or about 10/08/13 I bought a 1999 Ford Taurus in front of business establishment in [redacted].I called the person whose number appeared on the vehicle.The seller assured me that vehicle was in good running condition.We got car started I paid seller $1500.00 cash for vehicle .I drove car home later that day,after getting car I proceeded to check out car more thoroughly,and found that fuel pump had a problem, but car ran once started.I made arrangement to have car Maryland inspected.On the way to inspection car started running hot,all of the coolant ran out of coolant bottle.I let vehicle set for an hour ,and walked 1/4 mile to nearest to buy more coolant.I got back to car and got car started, and was able to get car home safely and it not running hot.I called seller and made him aware of fact that car had a blown head confirmed by reliable mechanic that I know.I checked on a used engine and found that they wanted $500.00 for a used engine.He told me that he was out of town at the time,and to show good faith he was going to refund back back to me $200.00 when he got in town on a certain date at a certain time.I tried contacting him on several times ,but to no avail even after leaving my phone number which I left with his wife.I would settle for $500.00 for the price of an engine.The fuel pump is another issue it self.I thank you for your timely response.Desired Settlement: pay for replacement of engine
