I had scheduled an appointment a week in advance for some plumbing repairs. The lady I spoke with confirmed my appointment window between 3-5 p.m. and advised that they would call when enroute to my home. I had to take unpaid time off from work so that I could get the work done, but they never called or showed up. Their business hours show they are open until 5:00 p.m., but when I called around 4:00 to see when they were coming, no one answered the phone. This was very unprofessional and inconvenient. I wasted two hours of my time and pay waiting around, not too mention that my dripping faucet is still not fixed! I would not recommend this company.
We did fail to get to this customer on Friday. When she called, she was told we were really booked up, but that we would try to get to her on Friday between 3-5. We were running late and the office was closed Friday at 3:00pm due a Dr. appointment by the office manager. We did not know that she was taking off work. Had we known, we could have called her at work when we were available and lessened her time off work, but she did not tell us that she was taking off. We never know when you are last call, exactly what time we will be there because we never know what will happen before we are available. Our Journeyman plumber did call her about 5:10pm that afternoon when he was finally available and left a message and his cell number. He waited about 30 minutes and never heard back from her so he went home. I am sorry we did not communicate well.
I did not realize that scheduling an appointment over 1 week in advance would require them to “try” to fit me in to an actual appointment window. Also, I did advise that I would have to take time off from work, and they did not offer to call me to let me know if they were running behind. And lastly, I would like to see the journeyman’s phone record because I was at home, with my phone next to me, and there was no call or voicemail message leaving me his number! If a company is going to try and pass all the blame on the customer, then perhaps they need to rethink being in the service industry
