April 17, 2017Thank you for your letters dated April 4, and April 12, 2017.We received notification from *** *** that his mother passed away and explained the process that is required to reissue a class members check in another person’s name.We received the requested documentation from *** *** on or about February 3, The information received does show that *** *** is entitled to his mother's estate.The standard turnaround time is approximately daysThere are over 185,class members in this litigation and serval thousand that are in the same scenario as *** ***The check will be reissue in the next batch of checks and the procedure was explained to *** ***.It is unfortunate that *** *** is upset but this does not change the turnaround time to research and issue a deceased Class Members check to their beneficiary’s name.Again, we respectfully request that you resolve this issue in your system.Thank you again for your attention to this matter.Regards,Margery C

Dear [redacted],Our company handles the administrative process for class action litigation settlements. It is our legal duty to make sure anyone that could possibly be involved in a particular suit, is sent a Notice. The distribution of funds is a pro rata allocation,...

as stated in the Notice, and processed specifically by the Court Order. As we do not know how many claims will be filed, we do not know or have control over what the pay-out will be. This was in bankruptcy at the time of this settlement.Unfortunately, we cannot satisfy this class member as we do not have the funds or authorization to go outside the Settlement Agreement and Final Distribution Order to reimburse any class member theirfees to file their claim.Please feel free to contact me if you need any additional informationSincerely,Faye KExecutive Assistant

Review: I was sent some information a few years ago to join a class action lawsuit. According to the documents I was eligible for roughly $1400 in damaged. Evidently there was some fine print stating I would not receive all of that money that I did not read. Today I received a check for $1.21, not even enough to cover the cost of mailing the form back to them two years ago. I can't believe that they would lead someone to think they may get over $1000 and only deliver $1, like I said, I actually lost money after you account for the certified mail charge to send the form back.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of my mail costs, and of my time in filing out the forms and going to the post office. Ideally I would like the money I was awarded in damages but they kept as fees.
