Okay I called this place today to see if I could get loan forgiveness.. The lady I spoke with was rude and inaccurate. Told me I would pay their company $99.66 over 6 months and then $49.99 for me to stay in the program then after 3 years the government will wipe my loan clean. [redacted]... Why did I have to calculate all the fees that I would pay and then she just agreed and asked for credit card information. No! If you have fedloan I suggest going directly through them to be safe and secure about where your money is going.

An employee from this business stole my card information and placed orders totaling more than $5000. I don't want this to happen to someone else. I contacted all of the right people and got things straightened out, but I'm very upset with this company. Their employees should be responsible and held accountable for their actions.

This company made a lot of false promises when it came to my federal student loan. I spoke with [redacted] after 3 conversations over the phone and some emails he promised that my loan would be paid off In 3 YEARS, IF I JUST SIGNED UP FOR THEIR SERVICE. WELL, IT WAS COMPLETELY FALSE. not only did he make several numerical errors on my agreement that he never fixed or emailed back to me but, I found out that I will be paying my loan off for the next 12 years and they charge close to $900 for re-filling fees. This is what they do, and every time you need to speak to a human you wait, never mind email no one will respond. I am going to call my bank and cancel my automatic payments they are stealing $$ from me every month. They need to be shut down.

I am incredibly upset with how I have been treated this company and, more importantly, being misled about my student loan. I will start from the beginning...I was contacted by [redacted] in December and he informed me I would be placed on a monthly income based repayment plan where I would owe $1,400 per month for the life of the loan if I signed up with the company. He also informed me that for the first three months on the loan I would not owe ANYTHING AND INTEREST WOULD NOT ACCRUE! That was a huge lie. And the conversation was recorded proving I am correct. So three months go by where I am charge $266.00 per month by this company while the loan was being consolidated. Fast forward to April, I called Fedloans to set up my payments and the representative informs me Strategic Student Solutions submitted an application to the government on your behalf stating you do not work. That is also a lie. The represented also informed me that I must seek legal action because THIS CONSTITUTES FRAUD! Jason Welsh should not have submitted an application utilizing my social security information just to make a sale!!! I am simply requesting all my money back as well as the interest accrued on loan since I have been with the company. I spoke to an operator today and they tried to offer me $300 to go away quietly. Obviously a lot more damage than that has been done. My student loan increased $7500 since I started with the company.

This company is quick to double talk people to get their business. I do not recommend this company.
