Strategic Tax Advisors, Inc. Reviews (4)

To make sure all issues are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner Strategic Tax Advisors, Inc(STA) has retained the services of ***, *** (***) to assist clients in resolving their concerns. An appointment with a sales representative was set with Mr*** for
November 11, 2016. Mr*** met with the sales representative and discussed the nature of his business and the problems he was experiencing as a business owner. An agreement to have an analysis conducted was reached and the Senior Business Analyst arrived on November 21, 2016, to provide the requested services. The fee for services was $2,payable upon satisfactory completion of the analysis. According to the records, Mr*** paid the fee and signed an Agreement for Services with STA on November 22, for a professional services fee of $24,000.00. As scheduled, the consultants arrived at Mr***’s place of business on November 28, 2016. During the first two days the Senior Project Manager and a Senior Tax Consultant created a Strategic Tax Plan outlining goals to be accomplished under the agreement. At that time Mr*** was presented with a $9,invoice which he paid upon presentation. Prior to the delivery of the Tax Strategies Report, Mr*** requested to postpone the delivery until President Trump took the office. STA made several attempts to contact Mr*** to schedule a new delivery date but he was never available to take any of the calls. On February 10, 2017, a Client Services representative called Mr***’s office to discuss his refund request but was unable to reach him. They were provided with a cell phone number for Mr*** but again, the call went unanswered. Another attempt to contact Mr*** was made on February 14. Again, Mr*** was not available to take the call and the representative as instructed to email Mr*** with the information. Per Mr***’s request, an email message was sent to him outlining two options to address his refund request. The first option was to refund $5,deposit minus the day’s expenses for the Senior Tax Consultant and Senior Project Manager on site. Option two was for STA to deliver the completed tax strategy at no additional cost as most of the Report had already been completed. As of today, STA and Client Services have not received any response back from Mr***It is very unfortunate that despite STA’s and Client Services’ multiple attempts to address Mr***’s concerns and their resolution proposal, Mr*** decided to file a complaint with Revdex.com misrepresenting the facts of this matter. If Mr*** would like to accept one of the two options discussed in the February email, he can contact Client Services at 224-676-or at [email protected]. If Mr*** doesn’t agree with our findings, he is welcome to submit the matter to arbitration through the American Arbitration Association, as is provided for in the contract that Mr*** signed

According to our review of the
file, there is some confusion regarding the circumstances surrounding the tax
engagement Mr*** refers to in his submission. MrRichard ***, of Crossville Heating
& Cooling (Crossville), executed an agreement for a business analysis to
commence on
September 15, 2015, for a fee of $750.00. Pursuant to this agreement, a Business
Analyst arrived at the appointed time and began the analysis. After spending two days with the Business
Analyst, Mr*** executed a contract for consulting and tax services on September
16, 2015. The consulting engagement
authorized by Mr*** was for hours of consulting at an hourly rate of
$per man, per hour, plus travel related expenses and a per diem of
$per day. Mr*** also agreed
to pay a professional fee of $15,to develop a Strategic Tax Report, and
a professional fee of $18,to perform a Business Valuation plus expenses
and per diem of $per day.The consultants arrived at Crossville
on September 17, 2015, and began the process of developing a scope of work for
the consulting project and a Strategic Tax Plan for the tax and valuation services. Upon completion of the scope of work, also
referred to as a Value Enhancement Program, Mr*** approved the plan and an
invoice in the amount of $6,104.75. Mr***
issued a check for the full amount. The
Strategic Tax Plan (STP) was completed and approved by Mr*** on September
17, 2015. The Strategic Tax Report was
to be developed and presented to Mr*** on October 23, 2015. Mr*** was presented with an invoice from
STA and VAS on September and issued checks to each company as a deposit for
the services to be rendered ($6,to VAS, and $6,to STA). On October 11, Mr*** confirmed the
October delivery with STA and VAS. On
October 23, 2015, Mr*** met with a Tax Consultant delivering the Tax
Strategic Report and the Business Valuation, and informed him he will not pay
the remaining invoice for the services. As of November 25, Mr***
filed a demand for arbitration disputing the amount owed. We are looking forward to resolving this
matter with Mr*** thought AAA and will notify Revdex.com as soon as this matter
is resolved

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:We never agreed to the work because some items were still missing that we had been promised.  A revised proposal was submitted on Monday, November 28th, 2016 at 4:30 in the afternoon, we never sent back an executed copy or agreed to any work.  We confirmed we did want to cancel by Friday December 2nd at 8:30 in the morning.  Natasha responded to Laura [redacted] stating she had forwarded on the request to her director at 5:25 pm. We then did not hear back from Allan [redacted] until December 7th in which he said he would call later.  Not only did he not call, but Laura sent an email on December 30th with no response and I sent an email on January 2nd with no response. We are owed a full refund of $8000.  We paid all the fees for the initial visit, where they double dipped in charges as they are a company that believes both people need a car at $105 a day, they make their profit upfront with their fees.  Those fees were $1282 for two people to sit with us for 2 hours.  We expect a full refund of $8000.
Sincerely,
Danny [redacted]

Immediately upon receiving notification of [redacted] Revdex.com concerns, STA contacted the principals of [redacted] to discuss an appropriate resolution. STA and [redacted] are presently addressing the issues raised and expect a mutually agreeable resolution to be forthcoming within the next few days. Once...

all matters have been resolved, STA will update this response
