Recently when my A/C went down I tried calling a friend first but he was not availableTo save a few bucks I tried the company he recommended IHK Services, LLC, what a BIG mistake that wasI paid for the so called repair and the system only worked a half an hourThe repairman then said he could not come backThe next day another repairman showed up telling me he could put in a new motor for about $but there is no way of knowing if it will work for more then a week or soThen he left to try to find the motor, telling me the owner of the company would call me shortly with my options.I waited then to hear from the company's owner who never calledSo I called and was told he needed to speak to the first repairman and he would get back to me by 7pmSo I waited and he never bothered to call me back at allMy take on it is they did not think I had any money to pay for the repair being that I told them I live on Social SecurityIt is my opinion that with that in mind I was no longer worth bothering to speak toI was left with no working A/C and out the money they charged meAt least after six long days without A/C I called [redacted] Thank God for this companyWithin a few hours they were at my home taking great care of me.Unfortunately by this time I already figured I needed a whole new system, but thought there was no chance I would get financedThe salesman [redacted] said lets try and got it all taken care of without a problem then without being asked they brought over a portable unit for my bedroomTalk about customer service!! We did have to wait another four days for the install but now I am very happy to say my home is no longer degrees and it is amazingFrom first contact thru the install all employees were professional and extremely helpful.THANK YOU [redacted] I will never call another company again
IHK Services installed mini-split AC units, performed electrical work and installed a state-of-the-art alarm and security camera systemAs a NYC Architect and, having taught Home Inspection Courses for twelve years, I know a Class A contractor when I see oneIHK Services performed all work in a top notch fashion, responded to all inquiries timely, showed up when they said they would and stayed on budgetI do not hesitate to give them my utmost professional recommendationJeremy & Mark and their crew did an outstanding job!
IHK is a Stay Away of company, terrible service People, don't get fooled by attractive prices! After installation of AC I am left with open permit for over months, had to arrange inspection myselfThe first inspection failed, they corrected the problem and again I have to make endless calls with no response to re-inspectNobody caresThe company is not reliableIf I catch somebody on the phone they say that they overwhelmed by work! Well, there is an intelligent solution to it - hire more people! Looks like IHK Services cares more about staffing their pockets with money than have satisfied customers...Now what: open permit, no response to me callsThank you IHK Services, you are really a good example how to serve people!
