Hi, we did send the exterminator to the apartment in question #104, I spoke to Mr [redacted] and told he also needed to do his part and make sure all trash was taken out daily, and that it would be a good idea to wipe down all counter tops dailyThis the only apartment that is complaining in the building about roaches.The work on the tub has also been completed , the tub was installed and the resident was still able to use it we just needed to paint the ceiling, all work has been completedI made an appointment with me *** to go over the complaints and he brought a letter and he also sent it certified and wanted me to sign it with his conditionsI explained that he was in a legal contract with the property and that I would let him out of his lease if he paid the cost of reletting in the amount of $and gave the proper day notice, and we would let him out in good standing if the apartment was left clean but that the deposit of $would be forfeited This not what we normally do but since Mr [redacted] was not happy we were willing to let him out of the leaseHe refused the offer and said he would call the news station and call a lawyer I cannot answer for the corporate office but I do know that all complaints are taken very seriously Thank You [redacted]

our best to correct the issue in a timely fashion. In some instances we do have to prioritize  maintenance requests  due to severity and in some cases they can be delayed do to parts on back order, or difficulty finding fixtures or parts that work with the existing structure that was built in 1976. All of our new move ins pay an administration fee out of the deposit of $100 which is stated on the lease and initialed, this was the case for this tenant as well. The payment of $380 stated was a $30 application fee, the $100 non refundable administrative fee and a $250 refundable deposit.  There was an issue with a $21 charge due to a change in move out dates.  This valued tenant did leave the unit very clean and was given the full refund back less the $21 and sent a separate check for the $21 at a later date.  A refund is normally done with in 30 days, however in this case it was sent back via the postal service, then had to be re issued and travel to a different forwarding address then the original one on file. However, new staffing and procedures have been implemented to help avoid future incidents and to improve the community overall.
