To whom it may concern, I, Craig Jamison Auction Co(Craig Jamison) would like to respond to the complaint from Mr[redacted] or case number [redacted] Mr[redacted] signed an absolute contract with Craig Jamison Auction for all his itemsI’m not sure if you are familiar with absolute contracts but, they state all items are to be sold and have no reservesA reserve is set only when an item is worth a large sum of money such as a vehicleThere were no promises made for the [redacted] estate, that would have been a reserve, and there were no reserves set for this estateMr[redacted] did ask what items would bring and if I told him any number on anything I told him over and over “this was no guarantee this was an auction”I would not respond to him or answer his phone calls since he was already upset, there was nothing I could say to make it better so, I would not answer the phone to keep Mr[redacted] and myself from saying something unprofessionalMr[redacted] has no room to complain considering he signed an absolute contract and all his items could have brought $All of his items did very well for an auction of used furniture nothing high end or with “big names” such as Hinkle HarrisAll their furniture was “no name brand”I thought I was being nice and didn’t sell his king size bedroom suit since I only received little to nothing bids on thisIf I was out to “hurt” Mr[redacted] it could have sold the bedroom suit for $I have replied to Mr[redacted] thru my attorney [redacted] Mr[redacted] thinks “were giving him fake numbers” for what items sold forI replied to him with customers phone numbers and Mr[redacted] called them and asked what they paid for certain items he wanted to check onIt was my understanding if I gave him this info he would not be contacting youI see how this did not matter and being the liar he is still contacted you on my businessI have attached a copy of his contract and list of items that soldI do not give peoples items away and, take very great offense in what he has complained on myself and my businessI do not appreciate how Mr[redacted] has handled this and how he called myself and office manager “scammers”He runs a business himself and should know how to handle things and what an absolute contract isIf you have any further questions or would like to contact me further my cell phone is ###-###-####Thank YouCraig Jamison Auction CoCraig Jamison

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find parts of it to be very untrue Craig is right I did not set reserves for our furniture and I should have set those reserves I have never sold through an auction and trusted the numbers he quoted us during his review of our furniture I totally understand that the numbers he quoted were just estimates but to tell customers they should get around $for a nice dining room table and chairs and then sell it for $80, or tell him he should get $700-for a bar and bar stool and then only get $175.00, or to say he expected over $for leather couches and only get $is very misleading I trusted his experience and thought he was being honest about prices he expected to get but clearly I should have set a minimum reserve This is a lesson I will not have to learn twice As for his comments about me promising not to file a complaint to Revdex.com if he worked with me that is true But they never responded to me until after I filed this complaint I do not expect anything else will be done and I realize it was my fault for trusting Craig and his word You can be assured I will never do business with him again and I would certainly not recommend him to anyone PS: I attached pictures of a few pieces of the furniture that was sold so you can see it was nice quality
