This bank has gave me the run around my account is still under suspension for no reason I transferred money to my prepaid card and they suspended my account I have money that I can't use its sad.

Attempting to correct misinformation was met with malice and made as difficult as possible, using COVID as an excuse to not correct anything.

On April 16th, 2020, I received a notification that an Out of Network ATM Withdrawal of $363.50 was posted to my account. I immediately reached out to my bank, as I was sitting at my desk at work and had not withdrawn this money. My bank informed me that they could not dispute the charge until it posted. It finally posted to my account on Saturday, April 18th. The bank tacked on an additional $2.50 fee for an out of network ATM. I called my bank and opened a claim right then. Claim ID. My bank cancelled my debit card and issued me a new card. They informed me that there would be a provisional credit added to my account while they investigated the transaction. I asked where the ATM was located that this charge came through, and it was showing the location on the far south side of Chicago. I live on the north side of Chicago and have never been that far south before. After trying to explain this to the representative, and asking if they could have someone check the video footage of the ATM, I was assured that "these things happen sometimes" and that it would be cleared up shortly. I received my new debit card in the mail 5 days later and activated it. I also was continuing to received notifications that transactions were being denied from my old card because it was reported lost/stolen. I took screen shots of these transactions and sent them to my bank via email with the claim ID# included to justify my case as well. No response. I followed up via phone 7 days after opening the claim to request a status update, and the representative informed me that I should receive the provisional credit no later than April 29th. Today, April 29th, no credit. I received an email from the bank instead claiming that they found no evidence of fraudulent activity on my account, and therefore no funds would be returned to me. Right now, money is tight due to the current covid crisis, and so 366.00 is a lot of money to me. I informed the bank that I will be opening a complaint.

On the 13th chime put and hold on my account claiming suspicious activity.I was old if I sent documents to the via email that the hold would be uplefted.ive sent all documents as well as my mhmr counselor sent them for me as well.but to no avail chimes has failed to give me acssess to my funds this has caused me great destress.ive been in hospitalized, diagnosis twice and unable to feed my family, because I don't have no funds due to chimes holding my MONEY HOSTIGE I AM a MHMR PATIENT that can not handle stressful situation which chime has fell to sympathize with on all levels and angles dealing with my situation of releasing my funds back to me.

This complaint is to Chime Mobile Bank partners with StrideBank Of N.A. I reported fraudulent activity on 02/07/2020to my checking account. I provided all supporting evidence asked of me from the customer service agent. Whom had no authority to provide any type of temporary credit and that I need to wait until the customer support team reaches back after reviewing my disputes a total of $733. on feb 8th through the chat feature on the app I proceeded to change my login info since my current one had been comprimised. I was told by chat agents that I needed to upload my government ID's in order to complete said changes to my account. I uploaded that documentation and login info which was my email had been changed by a marie antoinette. I have email confirming. On feb 11th, I get a an email from the support team stating they have received all information needed to investigate the case. That unfortunetly they couldn't issue temporary credit until 03/09/2020. An entire month with out those funds? there was nothing they did but leave me hanging. On Feb 16th I try to login in to my chime app because I had a pending deposit of $2178.35, not being able to log in I called customer serv. they told me my account had been suspended with out my knowledge! that I needed to upload government IDs to up lift suspension. I had already done that 8days prior to this suspension! I expressed that on tues the 19th a payroll deposit was going in and I needed them to reject it! *** the customer service who found all of the suppoting documentation said he would take care of attatching everything and sending it to support team and assured they would reject my pending deposit. Well the ended up keeping my deposit! to this very moment I am facing eviction late on all bills with a 12 yr old boy to take care amnogst other things. After doing my part and robotic emails back and fourth still no results from chime to help me resolve my issue. What they are doing is so wrong. I have done my part They need to do theirs!

I have been calling Chime Bank for weeks trying to receive my debit card that they have been promising me. I would really just like for them to be honest about the status of my card and allow me to close my account and send my funds back to my Wells Fargo account.

Our regulators provide us with 10 business days for a formal response on beginning on the date received. We are currently investigating the Complaint and require the adequate time to do our investigation diligently.

Stride Bank serves as the issuer of the Chime spending account for this program and, as such, is concerned with your complaint. As the issuer, we take all matters which affect consumers who utilize the Chime very seriously. We are currently working on sending the Revdex.com (Revdex.com) and the consumer a formal response.
