Strike Force Pest & Termite Control Reviews (23)

I bought a home in December of 2015 Strike Force is a company that had been treating it for termites a year previous I renewed the warranty and they came out to my house almost every 3 months because there was a ton of new Nests coming out of my ceiling.. the last time they came out in October hey man walked around my house with a cell phone looking at all of the new termite growth spots went out to his truck for 10 minutes... says he put 10 pounds of treatment in a trench in front of my home and they said they would come back when I complained about it so we rescheduled and the day of the scheduled time they called again to reschedule my house has been treated by this company for at least 2 years and I still have very very active termites in my home I am extremely dissatisfied with this service wish I could get my money back for extending the warranty but I'm just going to move on to another company and hope that they can help me better because my home is my investment not some game for someone to play because they don't want to work...

This company provided the termite inspection before we purchased our home. They filed a report with the AZ Office of Pest Management, stating that there was no evidence of termites. The inspection was obviously not thorough. Besides skipping the crawl space, there was wood destroying organism damage visible on the outside as well. We did, in fact find termite damage within a month of moving in. Not just a little, but a LOT. Be careful about allowing your seller's agent pick your termite inspector. Always hire your own, professional, unbiased source for such things.

Great company! Goes out of their way to make things happen!

Thank you very much for the opportunity to respond to this complaint.A WDIIR (termite report) is a record of our observations at the time of inspection. The termite report is good to the end of the day of the inspection. When we do an inspection, it is visual. At the time of this...

inspection, on July 7, 2014, there was"no visible evidence of infestation from wood-destroying insects". The report, under "Statement of Purchaser" says "This is not a...warranty as to the absence of wood-destroying insects". This Statement of Purchaser, is preprinted on the form by the State of [redacted].When we do termite inspections, if no evidence of wood-destroying insects are observed, we give you free a 90 day Subterranean termite warranty. Yours ran from July 7, 2014 to October 5, 2014. Also, we gave you the option of buying an extended one year warranty for the $124. Both of these items, offered by us, are not common at all in our industry. Both of these items were offered in writing in the termite report packet. So, [redacted] had all this information up front. A quick review of the facts; 1. At the time of inspection, no termites were observed . 2. She knew the termite report was not a warranty as to the absence of termites. 3. She knew there was a 90 subterranean termites warranty that expired October 5, 2014 4. She knew she had the option of renewing the warranty for a year.On September 2, [redacted] contacted our office to let us know that her pest control company was termite tubes on the outside of the master bedroom window .We let her know that she was still under the 90 warranty and we would treat the active areas free. Appointment was set for September 8th. She called and cancelled that appointment . On September 15, we went out treated the active areas under warranty at no charge.[redacted] called in on November 4, to say she say saw termites in the bedroom. At that point, we reminded her again that the 90 warranty expired on October 5, 2014. She is now out of warranty. She had the option of renewing the warranty at $124 previously, but did not take advantage of this opportunity.  At this point, her only option from us, would be to give her a quote for a new treatment since she was out of warranty .[redacted] has had plenty of opportunities to get on the termite warranty program. At this point, we would be more than happy to come out and treat. We would need to do a full inspection and put together a termite treatment proposal. Upon acceptance from [redacted], we would then set up treatment date.Sincerely,[redacted]

contract. What this means is, if active subterranean termites are noted during the warranty period, we will come out and treat the active area at no charge. Not a full treatment over again. When [redacted] purchased the home on January 12, 2015, the warranty was transferred to her. [redacted] called to let us know that there was evidence of termites coming from the ceiling in the hallway. That was treated on February 13, 2015. I  performed a quality control inspection on March 12,2015. I did a full inspection of the home. The area in hallway, showed no new signs of active termites. There was a tube hanging from the ceiling in a bedroom. I gave her several options on how to treat this; from a spot treatment of ceiling, to foaming the wall, and finally drilling the slab when furniture, carpets, and pads are removed in the bedroom. At this point, I have not heard what option she has chosen. When we do, we will schedule the option of her choice. We have followed our agreement, the termite warranty, and will continue to do so as long as the warranty is in place. If you should have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.[redacted]Strike Force Pest and Termite Control, Inc.?

Strike Force has provided initial and reoccurring service for six years at my present residence. When service is requested they usually have a two week or more window to show up. They have never really gotten rid of my termite problem, but that probably due to the natural environment here in the desert. My most recent service was scheduled between 8-12 AM and I received a phone call/message at 11:30 stating they were running late and would be there between 1:00 and 4:00 PM. I called and requested an explanation and the spoke person had the nerve to offer service THREE WEEKS later if I was not available for 1:00 to 4:00 PM. I don't consider this good customer service and would suggest they have scheduling issues.

I was very please with the professionalism and speedy service of Strike Force. They are also very friendly and gave a very fair deal on their termite treatment and warranty.

I looked extensively online for someone to do a WDIIR in order to buy a home. I made many calls to other pest control companies both large and small. Strike Force scheduled me immediately and was very affordable with no hidden tricks. Their service was excellent and staff professional from start to finish.

I have used Strike Force for over 8 years at my residence using their quarterly service and they are Awesome!! Prompt service and no bugs! Owner is very personable, too.

Amazing service! We were in a rush to close, and Strike Force exceeded the sound barrier in which they got the job done and the report completed!

This company's technician overlooked an infested area, for which further damage has been caused to my house structure. Under a warranty, I asked the company for giving an immediate attention to fixing this termite problem. I was very disappointed when I learned that the company could not schedule a technician to come out a week later. If the first technician did his/her work right, the additional damage could have been prevented. We are all human being, and we make mistakes. However, it is not unprofessionally responsible that the company could not respond to its technicians' mistakes right away. They company's website states that customer care is the priority, but it is easier said than done.

The customer service is good but when I asked to get a refund for my renewal (literally less than an hour of calling them back)...I was told they do not give refunds. There is nothing online that states they don't provide refunds and absolutely no warnings. You'd think that if you call within 24hours of having no service done, you should be allowed a refund, especially if there is nothing online that states otherwise.

Service is so so, I had a guy come out to treat an area and told him the infestation is on the east side of the house, he treated an area that he had treated the year before which was not currently infested, and didn't bother exploring the remaining east side of the house. Of course, we had to call them back for another treatment because he treated the wrong area.

Review: Strike Force did a termite treatment on my home on Dec 5, 2014. I had termite activity in the main hallway of my home in January. They sent someone to do a local fix in February. It was not a full treatment, just a local spray to the area. They said it took at least 3 months for the perimeter treatment to work and they would not do a re-treatment until after 3 months if there was still activity. On March 9, I noticed termite activity in the front bedroom. I called Strike Force and they said they would send someone to do a local treatment only, not a full treatment. It's been over 3 months since the initial treatment and I still have termite activity.Desired Settlement: I've asked them to do another full treatment and the woman in the office said they would not do this. My warranty coverage is from Dec 5, 2014 - Dec 5, 2015 and I'd like for Strike Force to keep their end of the warranty agreement and do another full treatment to get rid of the termites.

Review: Strike Force was paid to do a termite inspection in July 2014, did not close on the house until August 28th 2014, termite tubules were identified by another pest control company I had hired to spray the home before I moved any furniture into the property on September 5, 2014. I phoned strike force immediately they had a young man come out dug a trench about 6'wide and 1" deep covered it up and left. Well on October 30th a termite tubule was identified in my bedroom inside the house. Its as if they did not treat at all, so I phoned them again and they stated my 90 warranty was up! Was told that I needed a full home treatment that the spot treatment would not work as they are in the house now. They asked for more money of course this problem should have been taken care of the 1st time during the inspection the termites do not work overnight as it is a slow process and the did not inspect the house properly or they would have found evidence of the termites. Stirke force works for the real estate companies to hurry and close on the house. I would like for Strike force to come back to my property and treat the termites as I would have not moved into this home knowing that this problem existed.Desired Settlement: I would like for Strike force to come back to my property and treat the termites as I would have not moved into this home knowing that this problem existed.
