From: Brian O'***Date: Mon, Mar 6, at 10:AMSubject: Response to Case ID: To: Dear *** ***, Revdex.com, and Clients everywhere,In response to a complaint received abut our business from a recent Client, *** *** (ID #***), Striker Pierce offers
the following response.*** *** requested a background check for an individual in another country in early January 2017. When we took this case, we informed the Client that this type of case, due to it's international nature, would take at least weeks to get started as other countries do not allow access to their citizens' court, criminal, and domestic records in the same open fashion as does the U.S. We also informed the Client that her price would cover the cost of file retrieval (as we have to pay government offices in other countries for this type of information), analysis of the files (once received), and the drafting of the report(It is important to note that even though *** *** had preconceived notions as to what we would find, we very clearly stated to her that we cannot guarantee that we would be able to prove her "theory" as to the Subject of investigation's current domestic situation. Please also note that as a policy to all of our Clients, we never guarantee an outcome of an investigation as we simply cannot know the outcome before investigating a case, this is logically and obviously impossible hence the need for an investigation). We informed *** *** that she was paying for a service, not a specific outcome. We also do not provide Client's daily updates but instead we update the Client if more information is needed or if we find any "red flags" that might actually be a direct danger to the Client. Learning of her dissatisfaction with not being contacted continuously was not only frustrating but unrealistic on her part. Three weeks after the Client hired us, she called to check if we had received the files from the other country's government offices, which at the time of the call we had not. Contrary to the Client's statement in her complaint, we did NOT agree to cancel the investigation as we had already paid for the document retrieval. Upon ending the call we contacted the country in question and they informed us that we should be receiving the files that day, which we did. Upon receipt of the files, we immediately contacted the Client to inform her that the files had come in since the call earlier that morning. Unfortunately, the parameters provided to us by the Client (Name, town, etc) did not have any instances of court filings in the province she had us check. We explained to her that this simply means that though the records we checked (a service we paid for) that the Subject simply did not have anything on file in that province's court system, much in the same way one would not have a county court file in the U.Shad the person never been to court or had filed for an administrative action with the court. We informed the Client that, again, she had paid us to look, not to produce records that clearly did not exist in the province she believed the Subject to have court activity in. We let the Client know that to check the surrounding provinces there is a fee for each court house...not our fee but a fee imposed by those court houses. She decided she did not want to pay the extra cost so we set to trying to find out the information through *** and indexed social media analysis Unfortunately, none of the Client's theories appeared to be true despite exhausting at least investigative labor hours on her case and additional cost using our proprietary DarkNet scraping tool to attempt to find information that would not appear on the indexed internet (Google, Bing, etc). That said, as we were providing a service, we included everything we did find as well as an annotated report detailing our methodology so she could understand what we did do for her. Following this communication, *** *** drafted two emails to us that seemed to be more personal than professional and then went on to threaten us and that she would post libelous and defamatory comments about our company online: "Your company is a SCAMAnd if you want to keep the money and not provide the service you agreed to I will pursue other avenues to make sure people know what kind of business you provided to me." -Daniell Cordvae, February 28, via email. We found her language to not only be libelous and defamatory, but also untrue and unfair. *** *** was simply angry that what she had pre-supposed about the person she wanted investigated simply appeared to be either untrue or pure conjecture and/or heresy. On the advice of our legal counsel, we decided not to respond to her emails and are currently seeking legal avenues to deal with her statements/ These statements and the execution of her threats could cause damages to our company and reputation, thus opening up our right to pursue legal remedy through the seeking of damages in civil court against *** ***.With regard to demanding a refund, we normally will work with customers on providing a partial refund if we did not do our job. However, in his case, we went above and beyond the scope of work and did, in fact, do what she paid us for. We provided the service, we provided the report detailing the service, and we provided multiple opportunities for *** *** to review her case with us which she simply did not act on. *** *** already reported her charge to her credit card company long before we knew of her dissatisfaction thus eliminating any possibility of a partial refund as the funds are currently frozen pending a decision by her credit company to provide her a refund...she impulsively took this decision out of our handsAgain, we could not provide a refund, even if we wanted to (which we do not), as that money is current in a hold by her credit card companyFor the record, we are disputing this refund that she requested from her credit card company. Finally, we would like to state that despite *** ***'s libelous, defamatroy, false, and clearly personal attacks on our reputation through her complaint to the Revdex.com, we are and remain the highest rated and most reviewed company on several consumer sites, including *** *** where we currently have an "A" rating and have received over reviews in addition to two consecutive "Super Service Awards" which highlight our above average customer care and customer service record. We are also a disabled veteran owned company and a family business. *** ***'s comments are not only unfair and insulting, but shameful on her part and far from the professionalism we are used to dealing with on the part of most of our other ClientsWe will never do business with this person again and have warned all of our colleagues in our industry about our problems with *** *** for their own protection against these types of hostile attacks. Our company is not a SCAM, and our 3000+ past Clients whom we have helped find missing persons, saved countless marriages, kept innocent defendants our of prison, and even helped one of the best known feminist authors of our time stay safe and become empowered in the face of a potentially dangerous stalker. We are a very ethical and moral company staffed with some of the best investigative minds in the business, and the true and fair reviews by our Clients are a testament to our reputation Thank you,Brian O'***, Senior Investigator***www.strikerpierce.com*** *** *** *** ***Alexandria, VA ***

I am rejecting this response because: Striker Pierce is a SCAM and they continue to LIE. Johnathan from Striker Pierce called me back on December 20, 2016 at 1:12pm after I left a message requesting servicer. When I talked to him at 1:12pm he told he how much the service would be and I explained everything that I wanted. He ask me to text him everything that I had after I got off the phone and I did that. Two weeks later I got a call from his business associate Patricia saying that she was handling the case and that it would take a few more weeks because of information was coming from Canada. I understood that and no problem waiting until she called me one day and said she everything was in and she would have a report for me in 8hours. Two weeks after that call I call Patricia back and ask her where was the report and she told me she didn't have anything. I said 'well just cancel it' and she agreed and apologized. An hour and a half later she called and said she had the report ready. She sent me a report will ALL THE INFORMATION THAT I GAVE THEM! I called Patricia back and told her that I had ask for specific information from [redacted]. The next report she sent me included a copy and paste from the [redacted] page. A week later Johathan called and he told me he would make it right because I talked to him and I had ask for specific information, not a police check. He told me he would have someone else do the report and get me the information I requested. I explain that I had only gotten a report of all the information that I gave them. I told Jonathon that this (his business) is a SCAM. He ask me did I have anymore information I gave him another website. Two weeks later I got a report with picture from the website that I gave Johathan. EVERYTHING that they put in the report was information that I gave them. This company is a SCAM!
