I was a loyal customer of Strive Athletics for 2 seasons and I returned for the third. My daughter loves cheer and we were hoping that Strive would conduct business in a ethical way. We paid for uniforms, coach fees, choreography and competition fees far enough ahead to receive all items in a timely manner. However we never received a single item we paid for and the were ignored and mislead when we asked for the items we were promised in the contract. Finally after being ignored and not getting any answers for months we decided to pull my daughter off the cheer team. My husband and I both meet with one of the owners/coaches *** we voiced our concerns and she agreed with the fact the this season communication was poor and informed us we will be getting a full refund minus a shirt and bows since the uniforms at that point in Mid November has still not been ordered. *** spoke to *** the co owner of Strive Athletics and *** tried to explain why there were so many issues to justify the lack of proper business acumen.*** tried to refund us a wrong and unfair amount. We still have not received a dime.

Desired Outcome

Refund We demand the refund of $*** dollars for for the lack of delivery on all the items plus a full refund for comp fees, choreography and coach fees. Our child was never measured for a uniform and as of 02/19/20 Strive Athletics has made no attempt to refund me what they said the would via email on 12/20/19. They have also made no attempt to give us the items they claimed can not be returned.

Strive Athletics values the families that we get to serve and the youth that we've been coaching for the past 10 years. Over the course of years we've been in business we have yet to endure a family who left during a season due to being unhappy. The *** family expressed their state of unhappiness with our program and we stated and tried our best multiple times to help them understand that their reasons of unhappiness were due to events that were out of our control. Of all the 50 families we serve, they were the only family who did not want to come to terms with outside companies not meeting a deadline for paid products. The *** family signed a financial agreement at the start of the season stating that all monies will be forfeited if they choose to leave the program willingly or asked to leave. We were still willing to work out an arrangement of refund for a few items but with the running of the program, we were not able to comply by the said date of refund. A select number of items were available for the *** family to pick up which was communicated via email. Items were never picked up. Strive Athletics upholds a standard to service our families to best of our ability. We did our best to service and keep the *** family happy with multiple meetings and several phone calls.
