I had a medical emergency while out of state, my insurance company said they would pay Crestwood, however they refused to file In I was out of state and had to go to Crestwood for a medical emergencyI was very unwellThe staff was friendly, however, at the end of my visit I was told that they would not accept my insurance, but I insisted they file it because my insurance company said that they WOULD pay it AS LONG AS THE HOSPITAL ITSELF FILED ITI have state funded Medicaid, I have made numerous attempts to rectify this with the billing department over the course of the past few years, they claimed I had to self file or would take my insurance information and tell me I would receive a call back, but the call back never happenedEventually they sent my account to collections and I am constantly harassed for medical debt that is not my fault, it is the billing departments for not accepting my insurance for AN EMERGENCY, which they are required to bill my insurance for
