Dear Revdex.com,
In Reference to complaint filed 7/25/ID ***
Strokers USA, Inc is a service center for Harley Davidson motorcycles and has been in business since
In this time frame this is our first experience with a complaint to the Revdex.comStrokers USA, Inc has a great reputation
and prides it self on repeat business and a growing customer base.
The work performed on this motorcycle a *** ***, is a motor rebuild and added performance.
We give a one year warranty with all motor builds and the customer was fully aware of this program
Customer complaints seem to be of many other aspects of a very poorly maintained motorcycle and
not the motorFor example: A transmission leak which we did offer to repairA blemish in his drive
beltA scuff on an old rubber foot peg ( old scuff ) not scuffed hereA speedo cable stretchedWind
deflector tins crackedRotor magnets coming loose after miles ( not part of the motor build )
I originally received a call from the customer mid July explaining he disassembled the motor
I asked him to fax me documentation to explain why he disassemble the motor
After reviewing the documentation, myself and staff concluded his claim to be bogus and nothing to
do with work performed by Strokers USAIn the Documentation there were receipts from Gillett
Harley Davidson but it was clear that the customer had disassembled motor out of bike and took the
bottom portion of a motor to Harley for examinationHe wanted us to pay for the examination and the charging
system that failedFor a total of I responded with a letter explaining he voided all Warranty
with Strokers USA At this time he has filed small claims which we will appear on August 20,
In the new package of Documentation there is a third party involved with an additional in charges
for reconstruction of *** *** with no documentation for the charges.
At this point we question if this is the motor we performed work onThis is questionable in some of the documentation and pictures
If said customer complaint is sincere he simply could have brought the motorcycle back to Strokers USA for
any motor warrantyBy disassembling said motor the customer has voided all warranty with Strokers USA
We believe his accusations to be and he has shown no proof of good reason to disassemble motor.
Customer retuned to Strokers USA on May 30, after performing miles on break in period when he was instructed to bring the
motorcycle back at miles for re torque of fasteners, oil change and Dyno tune.
On May 30, Strokers USA did the Dyno tune on said motorcycle and the bike Dyno numbers were mid 80's
horsepower and torqueVery good numbers for work performed and is proof to our workmanship
After the customer test ride the customer expressed in front of witnesses, that he liked the power and said the vibrations were gone
He also left on a hand shake and a thank you
Strokers USA, Inchas a highly trained team with many years experience in this field and we back our workmanship + percent and the word is getting out.
Our growing customer base in and out of the state attests to this fact
If we can be of further assistance please call *** *** at ***
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:  I have witnesses that the mechanic and owner of StrokersUSA were drinking alcohol and still working on my motorcycle on May 30th, 2014.  This is a very poorly run business with a dirty shop.  They are experienced in dodging claims such as mine.  The work done on May 30th, 2014 was supposed to be "warranty" work.  I quote [redacted], " Will you bring it back to us and give us a chance to make things right with you?" after I complained about the vibration.  He also told me it was ok to run past the 1000 mile mark before bringing it back to them.  I took a short test ride on the evening of the 30th and took them at their word that they had helped the vibration.  I did tell him I thought the vibration was still there.  He told me it was harmonics.  I have a witness to all this, also.  The next day I took the bike for a 400+ mile ride and found the vibration still there and the engine running a lot worse than before May 30th.  On the evening of May 31st I call [redacted] and left a message stating how unhappy I was with their work.  When I did not hear anything back from StrokersUSA I had a certified motorcycle mechanic tear down the motor.  He found that a crucial spacer had been left out between the rotor and stator causing the rotor to contact the stator, knocking two magnets loose and creating the vibration.  The vibration was so bad that it damaged the new rod bearings and crank pin.  If this was a reputable business they would have admitted there was a problem and thoroughly checked my motorcycle out.  In closing I have to ask, if my motorcycle was poorly maintained how did I put over 100,000 miles on an air-cooled engine?
