Strong Builders

Hello. I hired "***" Strong from ***. He was to accomplish 5 home projects at my home. I paid him as he went. After finding him struggling with a simply ceiling fan installation (it took 3 days), I told him that we would JUST need him to finish the deck that he was in the process of and to refund the $225 he asked for , for the Bathroom project and overpayment for the screen door. At this point he went missing. I went onto his supposedly Construction website for the family business in South Carolina where he moved from. He Claimed he was starting an arm of the business for himself here in NC. After Contacting the Strong South Carolina company I found out disturbing information from his brother...the REAL *** Strong. "***" told us HIS name was *** but he went by *** as only a nickname. The REAL *** Strong emailed to me multiple documents showing multiple arrests for William *** Strong (I'll attach if possible) and a warning to Keep him Away from our property. " ***" told us he was a Disabled Vet with 10 years in the Military (which I have from him in writing(a text) his "story") His brother said he was Never in the military and his brother is speaking with an attorney about *** stealing his identity. I realize I took a chance when I hired *** from *** but he said I could check his license in South Carolina...which he gave me *** STRONG as the name to verify. He said he hadn't been here long enough to get his license in NC. That of course was/is a lie. He has a LONG arrest history...one being a fugitive on the run with ***. I am mainly filing this complaint to protect anyone that is looking up *** (aka ***) for future work. He does owe me the money but it will take charges to get it back. I am on a mission to do what I can to put a Stop to him and his bogus life.
