Review: We @ [redacted] are on the national do not call list, I have left repeated messages on all 3 phone# [redacted] to be removed from Strong Island Roofing as we never requested any info from this company. We are not responsible for the roofing of this building we have left massages stating this & request of removal, we are still receiving several ads every week via fax from this company. We finally got a person today 8/**/13 on the phone who refused to remove us from the fax list and even threatened to start faxing 3 or more times everyday. This type of behavior is unacceptable! The action on the part of this company Strong Island Roofing has become harassment and needs to stop!Desired Settlement: To never have any contact from this company ever again. NO FAXES, NO PHONE CALLS, NO MAIL, NO E-MAILS.

Review: Contractor set up a contract for a job and took 2 checks totalling $3,475.00, cashed the checks and never returned the next morning, or at all, to perform the job.Desired Settlement: Return of consideration, money paid, due to the unfulfilled contract.

Review: WE WERE GIVEN A PRICE FOR WORK TO BE DONE AND GAVE THEM A $2000 DEPOSIT,BUT THEY NEVER SHOWED UP TO DO THE WORK WE CHECKED OUT THE LOCATION ON THEIR BUSINESS CARD ONLY TO FIND A UPS MAILBOX STORE. I TRIED SEVERAL TIMES TO CALL ALL THE PHONE NUMBERS ON THEI CARD AN ONLY GET A ANSWERING MACHINEDesired Settlement: Refund-Check

Review: Strong Island was hired to repair leaking roof. They never completed the job, the work they did resulted in further damage. They were given monies for further supplies and work that never happened. Money was never returned. Initially [redacted] was contacted who assured us that he would complete the work. He never showed up. Further attempts to contact them have resulted in no communication. Our attempts to communicate have been going on for months. We have had to hire another firm to finish the initial job as well as repair the damage they caused by their poor work.Desired Settlement: We would like Strong Island to refund the monies they took for the additional supplies and work that was never started as well as a settlement for the incomplete work. Would also like to use this forum to alert other potential customers of their unethical business practices and poor work so this does not happen to anyone else.

Review: [redacted] failed to comply with the contractual agreement to apply a new roof over the family room. The work was shoddy - no shingles were replaced nor was there an ice shield installed, or plyboards replaced, tantamount to a new roof, per the agreement. [redacted] agreed to refund $1,400.00, of the total charged $2,800. of which he has failed to do.Desired Settlement: Refund of $1,400.00

Review: I have received numerous faxes from this company even though I have called them numerous times and asked to be removed from their fax list at the bottom of their fax solicitation. We have never asked them to fax anything over to us. This is completely illegal to do. We have asked them so many times to stop faxing things over. We only receive an answering machine every time we call. The website at the bottom of their fax is [redacted] I have gone to this website for the past few months numerous times and put in our fax number. They still fax us at lease 2 times a week, sometimes more.Desired Settlement: I want them to stop contacting us and to be penalized if need be.
