Thank youAfter researching her move, here are my commentsThe customer mentions she was not offered insurance or a contract, but she signed the invoice provided to you, which is the contractOn the invoice, you can see the section that discusses insurance, which was offered to her and she declinedAlso, on the invoice, she had hours to report any damageShe claims she called, but I do not remember talking to her or mentioning her furniture is made of particle boardI'm confused as to why it has now been three months and she wants $in damages? She packed her own items, so IF items were indeed broken in the move, she did not pack them wellWe are very careful while loading and unloadingWe make it a rule to use blankets and shrink wrap to protect itemsWhen we arrived at her residence, she had already disassembled her bed and deskThere is no proof that myself or my movers broke her furnitureIt may had been broken before it was even taken apartDue to her concern about paying for the move, she did not want us to assemble the furniture either - also providing us with no proof that we broke her items
It is true that movers showed up at 9:They worked until 2:at a rate of $85/hr which is the rate for a man moveAt 2:15, and additional movers showed up at a rate of $95/hrman moves cost @125/hr, but I gave her a discount because they were late
How did Ms*** come up with her figures? A used particle board headboard is not woth $A used particle board desk is not worth $How many totes were damaged? Where did the $come from? In my experience, rubber totes do not rip easily$for her home? Did she get a quote from a contractor? Where are the pictures?
At this time we will not provide any compensation to Ms***

In response to the response from Strong Man Moving, I provide this additional informationI have also attached pictures of the damages occurred in this moveI was presented with the invoice at the end of the moveAt no time prior to the start of the move was I offered insuranceFrom reviewing the invoice, I would have been required to initial at either the charge or to decline insurance, both of these areas are blank, as I did not receive an invoice until the end of the moveI did not disassemble my bed, or deskThe desk was moved in one piece and the bed was disassembled by this moving teamI fully acknowledge that I packed my own itemsHowever, when they were loaded into the truck upside down, or stacked poorly they were damaged
The replacement cost is to replace the headboard, it is only year old and the screws were completely stripped and the wood was badly damagedThe $dollars is to replace plastic storage bins, they were not rubber but Sterilite bins with hard plastic lidsIt will cost over $to replace the deskThe pictures were provided to Strong Man Moving the day of the moveI have uploaded them to this complaint for review
As the photos show there were numerous points and items damaged in my personal property and in my homeI am requesting financial compensation to have these items replaced, or repaired
