Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Review: Back in Sept of 2014 my wife and I went to SMI homes to look at there product. We were looking to build a new home and was told that Modular homes were fast and very efficient. We decided to go with a Modular home so we could be in quickly. We were told by SMI (Rich) we had to use [redacted] to build our home because geographically where we lived was his territory/area. We never heard of [redacted] until we went to SMI homes. SMI started building our home in October of 2014. All draws went to [redacted] for house. I checked in often, In March of 2015 I reached out to SMI only to talk with the receptionist. Rich the salesman, was either not there or said he would call me back. Never returning any messages. When I did happen to catch him in the office his response was he forgot to check on whatever the issue was or the person he needed to talk to wasn't there. So I communicated with the Contractor via text so it was documented. When I asked him when my house was going to be done he told me it would be done April 17th.. Now it is almost August and we are still not in our home and can't sell our old home until we have a place to live. I even spoke with Don the owner of SMI and he said he would look into the matter and get back to me. Still waiting for his phone call. [redacted] VP at [redacted] even reached out to SMI to see if he could help. [redacted] made several visits to the site and even spoke to the contractor he would be a good one to testify to how bad thing are. There (SMI) response now is that its between me and my contractor. A contractor who they told me I had to use. I'll I'm asking for is to get what I paid for and get in my house. SMI seems to want to pass the buck to the contractor and the contractor wants to pass the buck to SMI for not having the materials. SMI says that he doesn't order the right stuff. I'm not sure who's to blame, but I know its not my family because all we want is our house. I hope someone can help me and family get in our new home. Thanks [redacted]Desired Settlement: Finish or help push the contractor to finish what they (both SMI and [redacted] have already been paid for and stop with blaming each other. Bottom line I went there looking for a home, there sales pitch was Modular is the way to go, faster than stick building, out of the conditions when building it and very efficient. Told me they had quality Contractors and I had to use him because of where I lived, and here we are. August of 2015
