Struthers Family Dentistry PLC

I started off liking this place, but eventually had some bad experiences that let me know this was NOT the place for me I now realize how odd it is to have a dental office not do periodontal work, since I have a great dentist now who tells me most dentist offices shouldn't tell you you need a specialist for something like rooting and planing to help with gum disease Also for some reason they lied about my insurance not letting me come back for more months when I was having a problem with my tooth Perhaps they didn't like the insurance I have, but in that time I have seen my new dentist on occasions and my insurance had paid for it just fine Not only that but when I called to ask then questions the receptionist was extremely rude to me, and the dentist told her to tell me she couldn't help me anymore and that I would have to go to iowa city for help Which I know now that is a lie as well since I am being helped by a wonderful regular dentist Not really sure what their problem was, but they made me feel terrible about myself for no reason at all

Perhaps they didn't like the insurance I have, but in that time I have seen my new dentist on 5 occasions and my insurance had paid for it just fine.
