On 5/19/we signed a contract with STTAB Concrete to have the following done to our bathroom floors in our subdivision pool house: grind & remove all of existing paint, wash, dry, repaint with epoxy, and add sand for textureWe were told the epoxy held a lifetime warrantyIt was done on May 24th or 25th but were not supplied with any information for the lifetime warrantyThe masking tape that was placed by STTAB to protect the walls was attempted to be removed hours after the job was completedWhen this was done some of the paint/epoxy came off along the edges of the floorSTTAB was contacted by our HOA president the weekend of May 28-29thHe told her that he failed to tell us that the masking tape needed to be cut instead of peeled up as you do with just painting due to the epoxy in the paintHe was contacted on 6/6/& he told us that he would put another coat on the floors, that he had to order a kit for the paint/epoxy mix & that it would take about days to get the kitWe did not hear anything from him after that
On 6/21/a message was left on his voicemail summarizing what he had told us, requesting warranty information & that he come look at the floors before doing the repairs as the paint was becoming discolored in areasWe even asked if there was any leftover paint so that we could touch up the areas ourselvesHe did not return our call
On 6/30/we texted himThe events were again summarized and we asked if he planned on doing anything to the flooringWe also asked for the warranty information againHe did not respond
On 7/20/we texted himWith this text we expressed our disappointment & frustration with him as he had portrayed himself in a more honest, trustworthy mannerWe told him that we were contemplating contacting our lawyer & KY3's *** *** as well as posting to social mediaWe informed him of a place that had chipped in the boy's bathroom, the need for the areas that pulled up from the masking tape, & requested the warranty information within a week
On 7/21/he texted us apologizing for not getting in touch with us & said that he would fix the floors "next weekend"We have not heard from him since
