Good Afternoon,Unfortunately I do not have record of towing from this property on the date mentioned nor this complainants namePlease have complainant provide a receipt as well as pictures of the claimed damage. Thanks,Dwight G***

The meters directly in front of the space are self-explanatoryAnytime I have ever parked in a metered space, I add money as required. In this case, the meters monitor the time, it is a 2hr maxThe directions / guidelines are posted on all meters, which are in front of every space. The complainant is claiming there is no signs indicating the garage has metered parking.....is there really a need for signs stating "metered parking'' ??In my first response, I requested the complainant to provide suggestions on signs and wording, but that was rejected.I am requesting this case be closed as invalid due to the evidence provided. Thanks,

set up a complaint earlier this month, until I was able to find my receipt, the case ended up getting closed due to no responseI am now setting up a
new complaint with the same case but with all of the information because I am still very upset with what had happenedI believe it all happened September 27th around 12-A.MMy car was a *** *** *** **The car tag is ***I was told I could park in any visitor parking and did not need a tagI also saw that the parking spots were all numbered but I did notice that towards the end there were plenty visitor parkingI made sure to go around and check that there were no signs saying it was a private neighborhood as well as making sure there were no towing signs or any space saying “visitor permit”Since there were never any, I parked as I usually did (never had any issues before) when visiting and still do not have any issuesThe only difference was that this time when coming out around 12-A.M, my car was not thereI immediately called the police and was told my car had gotten towedOnce having called, the two men working were very unprofessional on the phone, had a bad attitude, and did not care about my situationI explained to them that there were absolutely no signs saying visitor permit required, and the man said it was not his problem, and he couldn’t do anything about it, if I wanted my car I had to payI did not think this was fairAt the moment I had no cash, or card on me to payHad to wait about another minutes to an hour to have my friend from *** to come and let me borrow moneyI was in a hurry, and had to borrow money to get my car taken out of the towing when it should have not got towed in the first placeIf the issue that been that someone called to complain because their visitor parking space was taken, I believe it would have been more fair for the towing to arrive and check themselves if there were any signs saying a permit/pass was requiredI also made sure that whenever parked there the couple times I had gone, I did not see any other car with a permit hanging

It seems as though *** *** is getting away from his original complaint*** *** chose to live in an apartment community that has a parking permit system in place to assure the vehicles are authorized and even states that he is aware of this and has a permit on his regular vehicle, and sees our tow drivers monitoring the parking lot where he resides*** *** chose to park a loaner vehicle in a gated community without the proper parking decal and as a result was towed for violating the policyDominion Towing did not make a mistake and tow the wrong vehicle, nor do we need a call engage our patrol.*** *** has not provided any supporting documentation regarding the repair to support his claim Although the suggestion of calling the rental office for approval to park is not in the lease, it is a logical alternative. The system in place for towing at this particular community is a planned policy and NOT a predatory act of towing as loosely mentioned by *** ***.Also as previously stated - I am happy to discuss a logical solution and can be reached at ###-###-####.The Revdex.com needs to remove this complaint as there is no evidence of wrong doing on our part*** *** is simply not happy that he was towed in result of his poor decision.Sincerely,Dwight G***

Good Morning,The complainant was towed from private property which is split retail / residential apartmentsThis property is located right beside a metro parking lotWith that being said, there must be time limits in placeThe area the complainant parked at has a hour max as statedHowever, I
disagree with the complainants statement about no signage or instructions- see attachedThe complainant parked in a space with a meter- see attached for picsThe meter has specific instructions labeled- "press button for 2hrs free"If there is a vehicle parked in meter that does not have time left on it, it is presumed that the vehicle has exceeded its time limit. The area / garage has numerous signs posted that there is a 2hr max as well as instructions on the meters which is in every spaceI would be open to advice on where exactly the additional signs or instructions would need to be addedI can be reached at ###-###-####Sincerely,Dwight G***

From: DwightDate: Tue, Jan 19, at 10:AMSubject: complaint ID ***To: *** *** Cc: ***@dominiontowing.comGood Morning ***,I have tried responding via the Revdex.com website but I keep receiving an error message.Unfortunately I was not able to pull this tow ticket up originally because a different person paid for the car and the complainant provided an incorrect addressThe vehicle was towed from the old *** *** at *** *** ***, not a doctors office as stated by complainant. I've attached pictures taken prior to tow- you will notice the long scratch is preexisting on the passenger side door / side, as well as the vehicle parked at *** *** at *** *** ***.However, I am unable to see the alleged damage on the splash guard, as there is dirt and debris in pictures provided by complainant. I would be glad to inspect in person, complainant will need to contact my office to set up an appointment. This vehicle was parked unattended in a vacant lot in which numerous possibilities could have caused the claimed damage. If the complainant does not agree, I recommend for them to contact their insurance company about the damage, not the Revdex.com.I don't believe the Revdex.com would have any way to determine who is at fault on a damage claim and am requesting this case to be closed as such.Dwight G***office ###-###-####-- Dwight G*** **Dominion Towing, INC.PO Box ***Lorton, VA ***Office ###-###-####Fax ###-###-####Please visit us at WWW.DOMINIONTOWING.COM

This particular vehicle was impounded for displaying expired license plates on private propertyThe *** *** Condo association has parking rules and regulations that the residents must follow to park on the private property- see attached for rulesPlease note " vehicles must DISPLAY valid
plates / stickers. Also attached is pictures to prove that the vehicle impounded did NOT display current plates at the time of tow or the extension that complainant mentionsHowever, the complainant did show a renewal / plate extension when they came to retrieve the vehicle so as a courtesy we reduced the towing fee by $40. The complainant has already received a discount and have discussed this with them via phoneI would be happy to discuss further to mediate and can be reached at ###-###-####.Dwight G*** II

The rules and regulations are provided to the residents when they receive their parking decals and sign their lease with the apartmentsThere is separate parking areas at this particular propertyOne is specified for residents and the other is strictly for retail patrons that do not have a
parking permitif you are a resident and have a permit, you have access to more parking levels than a patron that does not have a permitSigns are posted Complainant is not happy with the regulations BUT Dominion Towing does not make or set the rulesI believe their complaint should be addresses elsewhere. The complainant also admitted that it was his fault and parked incorrectlyHowever, I am willing to review the receipt to see if any reductions can be provided. Please provide the receipt to ***@dominiontowing.comOr call ***Dwight G***

I am rejecting this response because: The pictures of the signs in the attachment do clearly state that there is hour parking and towing is enforced and there are instructions on the meter which I do not dispute.? What I dispute is that there is not adequate signage or communication that the garage is metered parking.? There is nothing to indicate to the drivers that action must be taken at the meter.? Image *** is posted off to the side on a door to enter into the apartment complex, not visible to retail shoppers, only complex residents entering that door.? In fact I had to search the entire level of the garage to find the sign.? ? I did not reset the meter because I did not have any instructions directing me to a meter.? Nor was I parked for more than hours, which the cameras in the garage can prove.? The entrance to the garage advertises FREE hour parking for retail customers.? It does not advertise Free hour metered parking

I am rejecting this response because: MrG*** wrongfully makes the assumption that I made this service appointment in advance and could have called my apartment office notifying them accordingly for a passFirst of all I have never been told there is a “No Tow List” that I could be put onIt is no where in my apartment lease and this is the first time I am hearing of itSecond, I did not make this service appointment in advance, it was done last minute when I had an issue with my carThird, NO REASONABLE PERSON calls his apartment community that he pays rent at, that has ample parking, to be put on a “Do Not Tow” list that they never had knowledge ofThe Crux of the matter is that Dominion Towing is engaged in the inherently dangerous activity of towing vehicles and is held to a strict liability standard when they tow the wrong carThey cannot provide documentation that they received a complaint from my community manager or anyone residing in my community to remove my vehicle specificallyThey towed this vehicle on their own accord, without a complaint, which makes the tow wrongful and predatoryThey wrongfully removed private personal property from private real property of someone holding a valid lease to that private real propertyPeriodAnd when they were contacted about the mistake they refused to correct their error.? I also don’t like their drivers touching my vehicle to when they are looking for a pass on my vehicle when they are engaged in predatory towing

Okay, now that the correct information has been provided I was able to find the invoice / towing infoThe complainants name was not listed as a customer because they did not pay*** *** paid with her credit card and provided her drivers licenseThe tag number the complainant provided in the previous complaint went to a different vehicle. The community this vehicle was parked at is a private community and has parking regulations- see attachedAlso attached is a map of the community- the vehicle was parked in visitor space Any vehicle occupying a visitor space is required to have a parking permitThe resident that provided their address for complainant to visit is obligated to provide the park pass and rules. The theory that the complainant parked there all the time or see other vehicles in violation does not justify them to park illegally. There are signs posted at the entrance of the community and state the parking rules are strictly enforced- see attached for photos.I've also listened to our recorded phone calls and at no time was our employee rude or unprofessionalWe have only one call that evening from the complainants and the only vehicle we towed that night from *** *** was complainants vehicleI've attached the call for your viewing.Typically I would offer to discuss further to mediateHowever, due to evidence I'm providing, this complaint has been fabricated and should be closed as invalid.Feel free to contact with any further questions.--Dwight G*** **Dominion Towing, INC

Other than not allowing you to violate the parking rules and regulations, can you please explain how you received poor customer service? We / Dominion Towing is contracted to enforce the parking rules and this particular vehicle was in violation of the property owner rules? There is a hr time
limit in the metered spaces, once the time has exceeded, the vehicle is towedResidents do not have a time limit but they must park in a resident space. You can email me at ***@dominiontowing.comOr call ***, I will be happy to address your customer service issues.Dwight G***

Unfortunately I will need more info regarding this complaintDo you have an invoice number or vehicle make, and tag number?Tell us why here

*** ***, lives in an apartment community that requires all vehicles to be registered with the officeAs *** *** states, he was towed for not displaying a parking permit*** *** is obviously aware he needs a permit because he states his vehicle had one, and the visitor spaces require
one, too*** *** likely had a reservation for his car to go to the shop so he could have made arrangements with the apartment office prior to getting the car? He is correct that having a loaner vehicle is but since he lives in an apartment he must follow the rules of the communityFurthermore, the apartment office called the day after the vehicle was towed and put this rental vehicle on a "Do Not Tow" list for the night (presumably to allow him time to get his car back OR get a permit from the office since he mentions that he was late getting to the office that day, too.) That was also something they could have done the first night had he bothered to contact the office prior to them closing.I am strongly urging the Revdex.com to close this case as there is no mention of wrongdoing on our (dominion towing) partThe apartment community (*** *** at Fairfax) has the right to hire a towing company (dominion towing) to enforce parking rules and have vehicles impounded that are in violationDominion Towing has followed all applicable laws and guidelines of the contract.? *** *** clearly knew of the parking requirements and chose to park knowing his car could be towedThis complaint is about a policy in place and not about billing or servicesPlease close accordingly. If *** *** would like to discuss the policy or provide recommendations, I can be reached at ###-###-####.Dwight G*** II

Good Afternoon,I am requesting this complaint be removed from
our business profile and any negative effects associated with it.? This
is accusation with no supporting evidence. The complainants
vehicle was parked directly beside a sign that states a permit is
required- see attached
photosOur trucks / drivers do not sit anywhere
and wait for calls or people to park as suggested by the complaint
Unless he / she has proof, please strike that outHowever, we do
randomly patrol private communities as required by the property owner
This particular vehicle was in a private residential / retail garage
that did not display the required parking permitThe complainant even
admits it was his fault.I have also attached other pictures to
prove this complaint is and will show several signs posted
informing motorists there is a parking permit requiredThe pillars are
painted "resident parking" as well as numerous signs posted which is
well above the state requirement. As for the complainant
suggesting or "thinking" the prices should be lower- that's like me
saying "i think the price of milk is too high"I have no supporting
information nor a clue as to what it costs to produce a gallon of milk. The
towing fees are set and regulated at the County and State level with
many requirements followingThe towing fee charged ($160) to the
complainant is within the limits by Fairfax CountyUnless the complainant can produce evidence to support his complaint- please close this case accordingly.I can be reached at ###-###-####, if you would like to discuss further.Sincerely,Dwight G***

Good Afternoon,The complainant parked their vehicle on private property in violation of the parking rules and regulations? The reason was for displaying an expired permitThe complainant then chose to go back and park in the same area, still in violation, therefore, was towed again
Unfortunately there is no rule in place which allows a motorist to park illegally on private propertyAnd although the complainant would like us to make such rule- that is out of our control, we do not make the rules or lawsComplainant should contact the local government body to assist that. The disputed amount is $185, but the complainant was charged only $We reduced the tow fee by $out of kindness, simply because they were towed twice in daysDominion Towing has already acted in good faith by reducing the tow fee prior to complainant contacting the Revdex.com.Please understand that Dominion Towing tows illegally parked vehicles that have violated the parking policy of the property owner.I would be happy to discuss further and can be reached at ###-###-####.? Sincerely,Dwight G***? ?

Good Afternoon,A requirement of the parking rules and regulations when using the visitor permit, is that you can only use it for 72hrsComplainants car was towed for exceeding the time limit at [redacted] Association.Since the resident was unaware, as a courtesy gesture, we released the vehicle
free of charge.I dont believe this requires further discussion but feel free to contact with any further concerns. Thanks,Dwight G[redacted]###-###-####
