Stuckey's DDR/East German Shepherds Reviews (3)

To Whom it may concern,                                                  I'm writing this letter to address the complaint against my breeding program. I would like to make it clear I follow the "Dog Purchaser Protection Act of Pennsylvania "as a guarantee for the health of my pups as many breeders do. The act states that the guarantee is for 30 days pertaining to Hereditary or Congenital issues. It also states that if the puppy was not take to the vet within 10 days of purchase with proof of  exam that the guarantee is null and void.                            The law clearly states as does my contract that the contract is null and void because the purchaser did not take the puppy to the vet within my required 72 hrs or within the 10 days of the dog purchaser protection act. She did not provide proof or receipt of any of what she was to do .  I am not responsible for any of what she is claiming , I've done my health checks, studied my lineage of the dogs and followed up with siblings from this very litter and have had no other issues or complaints , no sign of any congenital or hereditary disease.                                                        The purchaser can threaten me all she would like but it does not change the fact that she was the one to breech our contract in regards to the puppy.  In the state of Pennsylvania she had 30 days to report any hereditary defects and submit the proof she failed to do so in any such manor, therefore any and all guarantees are null and void and considered breech!   Also just so it is know the issues she is claiming can come from many things not just genetics , many factors environmentally have proven to cause dysphasia elbow or hip, studies show more and more that it has to do with food, exercise, how the animal is housed, what surface it is kept on, does it use stairs regularly up and down.  I've spoken with her vet and they did not even do the required testing to prove the matters they are claiming , the vet is "guessing" he did not do X-rays and submit to OFA for prelim.... he did not even X-ray the hips at all in fact he states.  A dog does not have to be any such age to submit a prelim X-ray to the OFA . orthopedic foundation for animals !  And , so it is clear this matter is closed. My contract does not guarantee hips or elbows because of the fact that we are not God we can not control environment. If dysplasia could have been bred out of dogs it would have been done years ago ...but it is simply not possible because of environmental factors.  If the purchaser would have contacted me within 30 days With the required proof from her vet I would have replaced her puppy with one of equal value as in compliance with the dog purchase protection act of PA, however she can not just make up the rules.  She is in breech of the contract, she failed to follow the appropriate steps, she failed to follow the law not I.         As in regards to the AKC papers I have those for her I have had them for quite some time but she has blocked me in every way in getting in contact with her to give her the papers , these are available at her discretion.                           Thank you for your concern in this matter and to all who read this.  Best Regards,  Alisha S[redacted]

In response to [redacted] complaint. I have tried multiply time to reach out to her about this matter I have also been working with [redacted] through akc getting these matters fixed. To her complaint on the dogs hips I have called and left messages to receive the dogs vet records...

and info and she fails to respond back to anything she also blocked me the from facebook on march 15th 2017 I will post a screen shot of the messgae she sent I was never abke to reoly back with anything on that day that she wrote me she threaten court and I have yet to receive any court papers also. My contract clearly shows that I dont guarantee hips in any of my pups due to the fact I do not know how the pup is cared for or treated once it leaves my home my contract also states that contract is void if she doesn't take dog to vet after 72 hours of her recieveing the dog which she has shiwed no proof of that too I have gone outta my way trying to find what vet this pup has gone too with no luck of finding anyone who knows amber or the puppy and as for the papers like my contract states she has voided my contract but do to this mess I will have [redacted] of akc send out proper paper work to her for the pup. But I will not give amber any kind of refund without the proper proof that this pup is ill. Hip and elbow displaysia is not only genetic a dog can get it from so many things. For further info on this matter plz email me back. I have provided a cooy of the contract that amber was provided with. Also I am not a business this is a hobby thanks in advance.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I have provided proof to the seller in email And postal mail (which was mailed on 3/23/17) it was a letter from the vet with all of his contact information on it as well (i have attached it for the Revdex.com to see). The seller had my email, phone number, name and mailing address and I never received ANY communication from her until 6/28/17 (which was a nasty voicemail) which is around the time when the Revdex.com contacted. I can pull phone records if need be. The seller is in breach of their own contract as it states they have 120 day to give registration paperwork (the pup was also listed AS register-able only the AKC informed me the litter was never even registered so the seller was selling pups under the impression people could register them which was a lie.)It also clearly states the causes in the contract that if a dog is diagnosed with a HEREDITARY condition (see attachments) I am no medical expert and neither is the seller but I have medical PROOF this is a hereditary condition (see attached letter from vet) The seller also only now is just trying to get other buyers to contact her (it is HER responsibility to let other owners of this litter know about this genetic disease) She also continued to breed the mother of the pup possibly creating more pups with life long pain and mobility issues.

Regards,
