I would like to begin by saying that this company is faaarr from a scamIf it doesn't say "Student Aid Center" then DO NOT TRUST IT! I first began with the Student Aid Center because one of my loans from freshman year back when I was in college fell into default with a debt collection agency, and I was unable to buy my house because of itAt not one point in time did the Department of Educationor my lender for that matter, ever contact me to inform me that I qualified for an income driven program that has been available to me since the year I was attempting to enroll myself into a forgiveness program since 2012, but my application was being continuously denied by my servicer, or because I "supposedly" failed to submit proper documentation on time, or they just never received it (which was completely false)It turned out I was being charged standard monthly payments of $without my knowing for loans I never even knew existed, meanwhile I was making payments of $to [redacted] (who have changed their name to [redacted] because they were failing to inform clients like me about the forgiveness terms) when I always had the opportunity to pay lessStudent Aid Center not only protected me from an unfair garnishment of my wages I was at risk for with the debt collection agencies, but they also removed my loans from default and placed both the loans that the department of education claimed as "delinquent" as well as my loans from Navient under a brand new servicer on a fresh slateThey enrolled me into a $monthly repayment plan based on my household size and income as well as into a year forgiveness term that will allow me to pay a portion of my student loans back and have the remaining forgiven after the months vs having to pay back the entire principle amount plus ridiculous interest! Not only that but they helped me better my credit also by enrolling me into payments I could afford, and because these are federal loans it is immediately reported to the credit bureau and brought my credit to AMAZING standings! They also provided me with documentation to show my financer proving to that they were consolidating my loans and getting me into a better situation! If it was so easy to do this service for FREE and ON MY OWN why did my LENDER and the DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION KEEP ON DENYING ME? When I spoke to an incredibly sweet and knowledgeable supervisor named [redacted] she explained to me that every dollar I save is a dollar less that the private lenders and department of education are receiving on their end.Now I understand why there was so much controversy with the programs and why I kept on being rejected and sidetracked, because the lenders obviously want me to pay more!Student Aid Center relieved an immense burden I had been carrying and proved to look out for MY highest financial benefitThe representatives were all extremely courteous and professional constantly giving me status updates abut my process and payment remindersI would like my testimonial to serve as proof of the fact that the Student Aid Center exists to ensure we be enrolled into the programs we have always had at our disposal! They are here to help us attain the highest savings possible with our student loansthey even offer a 100% money back guarantee for their service fee if they cannot assist you in saving moneyso its a win/win! I would gladly pay them all over again for helping me as much as they did! I am just so thrilled and happy to have had them help me that I had to share my wonderful experience with everyone! Not only am I out of default,I am consolidated with significantly lower monthly payments, and a proud owner of a new home thanks to them!Student Aid Center worked above and beyond for me and im willing to stake anything that they will do the same for you! I definitely recommend this company to everyone, and anyone who doesn't take my word for it obviously doesn't want to save thousands on their student loans!

So yes it costs you $800, and they volunteer very little other than, "I guarantee I can get it knocked down to payments at $0/month"They don't tell you you're paying them to fill out an application that you can actually do yourself for free at studentloans.gov and get your loan consolidated, not removed, by the same people they say they found for youOr that not one penny is going towards your balance on your loansBut hey honestly, I don't care, that $saved me time, it really did happen how they said it would, and my credit has improved points in less than a yearMy payments on my 49,in loans are in fact $0/month and interest has stopped going upI'm hazy on how it ends after that time period ends, but I know my credit report and tax refund shows this company did what they said and got my loans forgivenAre they way overcharging you for something ANYONE can do on their own? Absolutely, but I paid that money because I knew if they were telling the truth it was going to be an amazing thing for meand it was

THIS COMPANY HAS NO WEBSITE AND ALL PHONE NUMBERS ASSOCIATED DOES NOT WORKI HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET IN CONTACT WITH SOMEONE SINCE DEC OF I AM IN THE PROCESS OF TRYING TO RECEIVE A REFUND FROM THIS COMPANY, BEING THAT THE SERVICES THAT WERE PROMISED IS NOT BEING RENDEREDI HAVE NO WAY OF REACHING THEM VIA EMAIL OR PHONE NUMBERI LIVE IN MIAMI, FL AND I HAVE WENT TO THIS PHYSICAL ADDRESSIT DOES NOT EXIST

I have tried to contact them several times and no one has responded back to me despite the number of times I have called and left my number There was four payments taken out of my account of $from August 14th to November 14thHowever, I'm still getting mail from my student loan saying it hasn't been taken care ofI've been trying to contact them since January 15th about this, but I keep being on hold to the point that they take my name and number then hang upThey haven't called me back once and I am getting frustrated with not having answers to a very serious issue

A recertification arrangement is due on an agreement with Great Lakes and I would like the opportunity to speak with the staff I have tried several times to contact the staff at The Student Aid Center NW 79th Ave., Suite: Doral, FL XXXXX by phone at XXX-XXX-XXXX and XXX-XXX-XXXX leaving messages every timeNo return calls have been made from them and it is a yearly reenrollment that needs assistance

This is a scam Long story short, they try to convince you that consolidating your loans and choosing a payment option is a "long and tedious" process They charge, as of September 2014, $a month for months while they "work with your lenders" and "setup" everything for you In reality, folks - and this is important, if you learn one thing today, learn this - it takes less than minutes of your own time to do the same exact thing for free Anyone who knows how to click a mouse and type with a keyboard can do it To make things worse, I happened to qualify for as many as different repayment options When I explained my situation to them, they only mentioned of those options, and it happened to be the absolute worst option for my situation Coincidentally, it happened to be the shortest term option So when you think about that for a moment, they already would have gotten my $1196, and the plan they said was "oh so great for me" would ensure that they serve as a middle man for the shortest amount of time possible (the least amount of work for them, they don't care that it might be the worst plan for you and your situation) They also ask for a credit card right up front, which is frightening in and of itself Lastly, when I went to cancel my account (I had showed interest therefore they started making an account for me), it was difficult to get a hold of anyone when it became clear to them I wanted to cancel On top of that, they insulted me and assured that I would not be able to consolidate my loans on my own and suggested I'm not intelligent enough to do so Never mind the fact that anyone, and I mean ANYONE, can do this in less than an minutes This is a total scam!! You've been warned

This company is a fraudTold me they could help reduce my loansTook $for 6mths out my accountLoans are still the same amountFRAUD! SCAM!!!! While on Facebook I kept seeing the advertisement about the Obama Forgiveness PlanI finally called the number and spoke with [redacted] She guaranteed me that once I paid $for 6mths with no mishaps my student loans would be reducedI asked her again & she assured me that I had heard her correctlyShe gave me her direct number & extif I had any questions in the futureShe even gave me a user name & password [redacted] keep up with my accountAfter she received all the information she needed from me I started getting emails & phone calls from other employees at The Student Aid CenterThey were always sending paperwork that had to have filled out by my HR departmentI have a list of everybody names & emails who contacted me After the 6mths were up I was waiting to receive something in the mail telling me how much my loan

Student Aid Center never brought my request to closure, I can't get in contact with anyone at their company to get this resolved I was contacted in Dec by Student Aid Center who said they could complete my Income Based Reduction request within months for payments of $I had provided them with all the necessary documentation and they assured me they were processing the request, when in fact they hadn't even begunAfter realizing nothing had been started, I again requested they start the process in May 2015,and they took out of payments from my account By Oct I was expecting a finalized result, however I was never able to get a direct result from themThey claim the forms were submitted but my loan provider confirmed they never received any forms for an income based reductionI emailed and called everyone I could several times but never heard back from themI placed a stop payment so that they couldn't take the last payment since they didn't deliver anythin

Charged services and did not follow through with what was intended I went online to see about consolidating my student loan debt and found Student Aid Center They said they would consolidate my debt and get me into a program where in years I will have my student loan debt paid off per government issued They charged me $per month for about months and my loan never changed It is still at years with the same payment it was at before I am now having to fill out all applications and re-submit information I already gave They charged me for a service I am doing myself It was a scam just to get my $per month for months The customer service representative I worked with was named John and it seems I have lost all correspondence with him It was very misleading and needs to be stopped before more people fall victim

I gave them $in payments and they were susposed to wipe out my old student debts clean which of course they never did and I want my money back I just saw that the Attorney general of Michigan sued this company calling them a big fraud!!!

Can't get in contact with anyone to get a refund I call X-XXX-XXX-XXXX, X-XXX-XXX-XXXX, X-XXX-XXX-XXXX and the lines stay busyI have paid $I was speaking the Genesis [redacted] on the phone and emailing her at [redacted] @studentaidcenter.org

Last year I went to this company thinking they was going to help me with my loan by paying them for months then the next year everything was a lie I sent personal information to them about my bank account loans and paid them $a month to look on the internet this year and it say they think this is a scam when they was advertising it on tv, social media etc

Here's the dealThey "assist" you in consolidating your loans to another company and charge a free for doing so$for monthsYou can do this yourself by getting the forms directly from the us goverment ams submitting yourselfBeware that if your loans have already been consolidated woth the loan servicing company you are worth you may not apply anywayMy story I called to get loans consolidated, and asked the rep of this is the correct number for the us goverment loan rehabilitation He said yes, and we proceededThe rep told me that in months time my loans would be consolidated and will no longer be with the current company I was with My student loans have been automatically withdrawn currently, and the rep stated I could stop payment on the loans because they would be going away anyway Well I discussed this with my current provider and stopped paymentmonths later I get a letter from fed loan services (the actual company I should have called in the first place) stating that my application was not acceptable due to the fact my federal loans have already been consolidatedSo I call back the company that my loans were with and because I didn't make a payment for two months they went default and to collections!!! I never heard back from strident aid center nor got a letter It was too late, now my credit is affected by this, and I have to go through a third party to dry up a new repayment plan! It took me two days to get a call back from a representative who could assist me in getting my money back from student aid center, and the phone call lasted about minutes of telling the rep I wanted my money backI will say the person I worked with did a great job trying to save the "sale" I'll give them thatThey do tell you that at any time they will refund your money if you are not satisfiedI have not received anything back yet but they did tell me I will At the end of the day, is what this company doing legal? Absolutely Can you do it yourself for free? Yes I would recommend doing research on your own loans first to be sure this will work if you decide to give somebody $to assist you in filing forms my opinion, don't go through this company, sident aid center is simply put, a middle man taking your money

Dear Sir or Madam: On November 4, I saw an advertisement on [redacted] about the [redacted] Student Loan Forgiveness Program and at first I was skeptical, however based on the commercials on TV I was interested on applying, because as a single mom of three I was having difficulties paying my student loan backTherefore, I called the number at (XXX) XXX-XXXX and I spoke to a MsJanet, ID# [redacted] She assured me that it was a legit business and that she would work with me on my student loanShe had access to my student loan information after I provided her with my social security # and even emailed to my attention some documents to signI really believed it was a legitimate business and I was so happy for [redacted] putting this program together to help those who are in need of assistance with their student loans, especially single mom/dad, like myself I made payments of $starting 11/14/14, 12/14/14, 1/14/and the last one was on 2/14/During that time, I did have access
