student debt solution center is a fraud and a scam. my mom was a co-signer of my student loan so we both paid $249.50 two times for almost $1000.00. nothing was done, I cant reach anyone from the company via e-mail or phone. its like the Steve miller song "go on and take the money and run". they stole my and my mom money and disappeared. I truly wish I could find the key players who did this so they cant rot in a prison cell.

This company was very helpful with my outstanding student loans. I was overwhelmed with bills, and I lost my job. They were able to help me catch my breath and get my feet back on the ground. If you have outstanding loans, please consider giving them a call to see if they can help you. They have very friendly and knowlegeable staff that can help answer any questions.

My loan consultant Lauren Cook helped me so much! She was very nice and understanding, my loans are now going to be taken care of so I can go back to school and help provide a better life for myself, my husband and my son! I can't thank them enough!!!

My experience with "SDSC" was wonderful. Lindsay Fisher was very friendly and helpful. She answered all of my questions, and went out of her way to help arrange payments. I am very pleased, and extremely excited about entering a loan repayment program!! I have been very worried about paying back my loans for a long time, I knew there was no way that I would be able to afford it any time soon. But, now that I am in an income based program, everything is perfect!

Lauren Cook was amazingly personable and empathetic. I consolidated my loans in 1993 at the fabulous rate of 9%. (Yes,9%) I have paid back $45,000 and still owe more than the original loan due to several deferments over the years. Student Debt Consolidation Center has given me a light at the end of the tunnel!

Review: student debt solution had me sign an electronic agreement for three payments for the service a little while after signing we decided it was something I wasn't comfortable with going through with it it just sounded shady and a little rushed so we tried to get ahold of someone to get it canceled and could not get ahold of anyone finally we got ahold of Lauren after several phone calls and a text message from her saying she was busy and for us to call back later and we explained the situation and she said the guy wasn't there to handle that ( notice this was a Friday early afternoon there) so then she said she would call us back the next day or Monday. No call so we went to our bank the next day to see if there was anyway someone could help us which the bank lady tried to contact them several times and decided to send in paperwork for it. At that point the payment hard posted to our account an we contacted Lauren again and surprise surprise there was nothing she could do about that payment but she would cancel the last two payments. Summery I tried to cancel before it posted and I felt like I was being drug on until they got there money. I'm not happy.Desired Settlement: I want my hard earned money back that should have been resolved awhile ago

Thank you for bringing this compliant to the attention of Student Debt Solution Center (“SDSC”). Upon review of

the Customer’s Statement of the Problem I am requesting the following Student

Debt Solution Center statement be added to the permanent record for Compliant

ID# 10157032.

Based on SDSC records, the customer engaged in a

complimentary consultation with one of our sales representatives on June 17,

2014. Upon completing the consultation the customer entered into a

consolidation agreement with SDSC via electronic signature on the same day

and then proceeded to post a positive review on the company’s Facebook page about

their SDSC experience.

Under the terms of the agreement the customer was to pay a

total fee of $299.00 (less a $10 discount for the Facebook posting) payable to

SDSC for SDSC services over 3 monthly installments beginning July 18 – Sept 18,

2014. The first payment transaction of

$89.67 was completed by credit card on July 18th and cleared through

the banking system without incident. On July 24, 2014, SDSC was notified by the

customer’s bank that a chargeback occurrence had been filed by the customer.

SDSC explained that an agreement was executed by both parties on June 17, 2014 and

provided a copy to the bank as proof which validates the applied charge. The bank

reviewed the incident and provided written correspondence to SDSC confirming

the chargeback was dismissed as unsubstantiated.

SDSC did confirm that at least one telephone call did occur

between the sales consultant and the customer’s spouse regarding this matter

sometime between June 17 – July 30, 2014. On July 30, 2014 the sales consultant

spoke directly with the customer by telephone. During this call the customer

formally requested we cancel the agreement. SDSC’s cancellation policy in the

consolidation agreement states that all refund requests must be made within

three days after the signature date of the agreement. The sales consultant informed

the customer of this provision, sent them a copy of the agreement via email and

stated SDSC would not refund the first payment, but would cancel the remaining

two payments as a courtesy. To my knowledge, best recollection of the staff and

company records everything was done according to SDSC policy with the exception

of the cancellation of the two remaining payments. Again, this was done as a

courtesy to the customer.

In closing, Student Debt Solution Center values its

relationship with all of its customers and the community it serves. SDSC will,

in good faith return the customer’s initial payment as a peace offering for any

misunderstanding that might have occurred. SDSC

For the record the positive Facebook response they have you do right away so you can receive a discount as stated anyone will post a positive response if they are being compensated for it especially when they tell u to do it before you even get an opportunity to know the company. I Have not received payment back. Response will be accepted when payment is received.

I actually had the pleasure of receiving student loan counseling and re-payment options from Ms. Lauren Cook. She contacted me via email; we set up a day and time for a telephone appointment, and the transactions were promptly and efficiently done. She walked me through all the paperwork for the consolidation, after thoroughly explaining the changes to student loan consolidation under the present Federal guidelines. I was not aware of any of this information and felt so relieved when I learned of some of the options available to borrowers who have carried this student loan burden into the senior years. I am very appreciative of her diligence and patience in going over everything with me. I recommend her to anyone who has the same "burden" that I have carried for decades, and is seeking honest solutions.

Student Debt Solution Center, LLC sent me an email last fall saying we were able to get student loan forgiveness on 2 student loans in an amount equal to $7,145.44 and that I could eliminate this debt since my husband has become disabled and our income had gone down. I spoke to Brice Coefield and he promised that if we paid 2 payments of $249.50 to Student Debt Solution Center they would in turn file our debt to be eliminated through a federal program. We confirmed this several times on the phone and were promised we would qualify. We sent the money by credit card and Brice C. told us our loans would show a zero balance within the next month. About one month later I got a letter from Nelnet, a student loan company asking how I would like to repay my student loan with them. I called them and they explained that not only did I have a loan balance of $7,145.44 with them, the interest rate was higher than what I had previously had with my prior loan company.

So in short Brice C. at Student Debt Solution Center told me an outright lie. I would understand if this was a mistake, and so I called Brice on the direct line he gave me, he called me back and said it was a mistake and he would fix it. After about a week Nelnet sent me another letter, loan is still there. I try to call Brice back but no matter how many voicemails or emails I send there is no response. So he lied to me again. Not only was this a bad business practice, it's immoral. Like I said we were having financial difficulties, and this company promising help stole $499.00 from our tight budget to increase the interest rate on loans we were already having trouble paying. If you are reading this please steer clear of this company, if they employ people who will tell anyone anything to get what they want and are willing to hurt people to make money then you can't believe anything they say.
