In response to the claim issued by the clientIt seems there was missing information per the clients servicing company hence causing the denial of the new repayment program quoted to the clientUnfortunately we have no control of what the servicing company procedures or way of communication with
the borrower to notify them that there is missing information in order for us to assist the client and make sure they get the service they enrolled intoReceived documents signed from the client on 06/06/we successfully submitted to the clients servicing company as we have done to numerous of clients without any problem or delayWe are currently reviewing the clients file and awaiting for the clients corporation to access the clients student aid file to confirm the denial of the servicesFurthermore, regardless of the outcome we will be glad to refund the client for the payments she has paid and will cancel the agreement with her finance company leaving the client with no service fee even if services were partially providedWe apologize to the client and hope to resolve this matter as soon as possible

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this information does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, I have clarified the complaintThe heart of the problem is that their advertising is based on the claim that *** of *** is under investigation and that student loans taken out to attend *** of *** may be forgiven. I clicked on the ad and an info box asked me to fill out information to find out if I qualified for forgiveness of my *** of *** loans. I did not ask for information on general loan forgiveness, loan consolidation or refinancing. The email sent to me contained no information about *** of *** and I could not find any information about it on their website. They collected my data under pretensesThe rest of their response is true. They emailed me and I emailed back and requested that they not contact me again

After reviewing the complaint Student Financial Help Center stands by its initial response and outcome. Student Financial Help Center has agreed to cancel the account and the client will not be responsible for the EA service fee per cancellation of her enrollment. Student Financial Help Center has tried numerous times in assisting the client which may have lead to the desired request of providing a service for a lesser fee per the clients misunderstanding and from approval of Student Financial Help Center management, but after refusal from the client Student Financial Help Center will no longer be responsible for the clients actions or decisions in not allowing Student Financial Help Center to assist her with her student loans outside of her initial enrollment. IF the client has any more questions or concerns she is more than welcome to call [redacted] to assist her.

In response to the complaint issued by the client. We honor every client and adhere to the client service agreement from which they sign upon enrollment with SFHC. The client was successfully enrolled and submitted per the signed agreement dated on 10/12/2016. The client was informed multiple times...

that we are a third party, that her service fee will not be applied towards her loan balance and most of all that we will complete the service per her agreement. SFHC does NOT promise or guarantee work outside the client service agreement. Furthermore after review the client neglected to mention that she was contacted by SFHC to complete her enrollment as agreed upon. SHFC is aware of the clients contact with her servicing company and we understand that some clients might not fully understand the entire process therefore elected to cancel per tactics used by her servicing company. SFHC works on the clients behalf and not in the servicing company's interest as SFHC has no interest in collecting profits from interest accrued from the clients student loans.  Student Financial Help Center has issued the refund to the client for the amount of $266.33 to the client on 01/16/2017 to the account on file. If the client has any further questions and needs more clarification the client is more than welcome to call us at [redacted] to help answer her concerns.

Claimed to be a Government Program with a short window of time to Erase Student Loans. Called to qualify, and they are just another Debt Collection negotiator. They did tell me that if I pay them 300.00 something dollars they would take my wages out of debt collection, and in 300 months be paid off or forgiven by the US government. Sounds to me like a lawyer office filing paper work on my behalf to keep me out of collections. However I cant afford even that. If I could I'm not sure if what they claim is true or not. If it is than for most people it would be worth it. If not than it's a scam. My instinct tells me that they are legit in the terms that they will file the correct paperwork for a charge. However a really good company not for profit would just send you the links necessary for you to file the paperwork for Student loan forgiveness instead of charging you to do it themselves. So for me this isn't a good deal. For someone with a little money it could be great? They will ask for your bank account info to set up payments to pay them.

Student financial help center was great. I had a complex situation and their staff made it easy!

In response to the clients compliant. Student Financial Help Center has never received a Notice of Cancellation from the client nor by mail, email, or fax. on 07/13/2016. But, than after re-enrolled with our services on 07/27/2017 into the correct repayment plan based on her employment status. In reference to the accruing interest statement by the client. Everyone of Student Financial Help Centers client's go through a verification process were it is clearly stated to that client that interest will still be accruing regardless of what program she gets enrolled into unless she was applying to get her loan completely discharged which accruing interest will not be a factor. Furthermore, Student Financial Help Center will like to inform the client that regardless of the misunderstanding Student Financial Help Center will be issuing the client a full refund for any inconvenience this may have caused and as reminder to the client ALL federal student loans accrue interest. If the client has any further questions or concern please call us 888-366-6921. Thank you.

Student Financial Help Center would first like to apologize to the client for any misunderstanding or miscommunication she may have received throughout her process. After review, the client was enrolled into rehabilitation enrollment that would help her rehabilitate to her loans, hence her loans are...

what to be considered defaulted and unresolved for non payment for more than 9 months. Student Financial Help Center has successfully submitted documents on the clients per the agree upon agreement to the clients assigned collection company and have discussed with the client the following steps to fully complete the submission on the clients behalf. Unfortunately, Student Financial Help Center does not have control of the collection company procedures or policies and only can relay certain aspects that need to be address to the client, for example a physical signature which is required rather than an electronic one. The clients request to help her with her garnishment is not part of our client service agreement, as per her initial enrollment. But, Student Financial Help Center as a courtesy will be happy to assist the client with her garnishment and help her get through the process as quickly as possible. We do ask of the client to contact us asap so we can further discuss her account and handle this matter accordingly. We hope this resolves the clients concerns and allows us to continue working hard on her file as we have been for the past yr. If client does not wish to continue at this point Student Financial Help Center will be glad to honor the client service agreement and issue a FULL refund at the clients request.
