Review: I have mailed and faxed supporting documents with no response. Late payments reflect on both [redacted] STUDENT LOAN CORP and [redacted].REGARDING : LATE PAYMENTS INCORRECTLY REPORTED TO CREDIT REPORTING AGENCIES; NAME: [redacted] (MAIDEN: [redacted]), SSN# xxx-xx-xxxxDEAR SIR OR MADAM I have had several months payments reported as late on my credit reports. If you review my file you will see that payments were made to the U.S. Department of Education, but there was reportedly some type of internal computer issue when you converted from the old to the new system of billing. My account number changed at that time, but I had not been made aware of that change and therefore my payments were not credited correctly, as they were being made. I am therefore requesting a goodwill adjustment and a positive credit rating by revising these late payments with an update of the information on all three major credit-reporting organizations. As I am currently attempting to apply for credit, time is of the essence. I am at a point now where I am attempting to buy a house. Having this derogatory account on my credit report is making it very difficult for me to get financing for a home. Please understand that I am extremely concerned about the consequences of the actions this company is having on my life. In accordance with section 605 B of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. 1681g(e), I am requesting that you Permanently Block/Remove business records relating to the fraudulent account and identifying information identified above from appearing on my credit report. I am requesting that the fraudulent account be removed from all three credit bureaus which include [redacted], [redacted] and [redacted] via [redacted]. Please investigate this matter and remove the fraudulent account as soon as possible. Thank you for your anticipated assistance in resolving this problem.
