For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The response provided was not to resolve the complaint, but was simply an acknowledgement that a complaint had been received and that they were sending me something via USPS. I received an authorization in the mail on 01/02/for me to sign, allowing them to discuss the situation further with the Revdex.com. That authorization will be sent back to Aurora Health Care via the address they provided today, 01/03/

the visit was a physical exam and should have been billed as such; his insurance would pay all costs without any expense to himHis visit was instead billed as an office visit that had a balance applied to his deductible.Prior to this complaint being filed, a review of the visit was initiatedOur findings revealed that the initial claim to Mohamed's insurance was inaccurateWe have since corrected that error, sent a new claim indicating the visit was routine and received payment in full from the insurance as Mohamed expectedWe have also reached him by phone and provided the information above which he was receptive toDue to the insurance payment, there is now a credit on the account for a prior payment Mohamed madeWe will have this credit refunded to him and again offer a sincere apology for the initial billing errorNo further action is needed from Mohamed at this time and we thank him for his patiencePlease accept this update as confirmation that his complaint was addressed

This complaint was originally received in paper form in our office but has since been received via email. An acknowledgement letter and release has been sent to Katherine. Please accept this acknowledgement of her complaint.

Revdex.com of WisconsinRE: Aurora Health Care complaint [redacted]February 21, 2017 Revdex.com personnel, Michael filed this complaint to address an unresolved billing concern. He says the balance due on paper statements was not consistent with the balance shown in the online billing system. Michael also added that the account was sent to collections previously due to this inconsistency and a small credit balance on the account has never fully been explained.With regards to billing, we have informed Michael that paper statements are only generated once a month and any activity afterwards will not be reflected until the next statement the following month. In contrast, our online system is updated in real time. Any new activity including payment, adjustments and/or charges are reflected on the account immediately so the online billing will generally be the more accurate of the two. With regards to credit, $11.35 was overpaid to a collection agency previously. We have contacted the appropriate department to have the agency refund that balance so all that is needed now is to allow time for the refund to be processed.In general, Michael was receptive to the information provided and was in agreement with contacting Aurora again directly should he have additional concerns.  He was also informed we will respond to the complaint but at this time, no further action is required from him. We believe his complaint has successfully been addressed.

I am aware that the Revdex.com closed this complaint without response from Aurora but I wanted to inform you that a signed consent was never received. Latoya was contacted and acknowledged receiving the form and letter mailed to her but not returning it.
