Review: This business sold me a bulk package of massages on 5/5/2015. Their masseuse left the company. I called to schedule an appointment and was told they would not honor the bulk packages I purchased, and told me that they would be happy to give me the masseuse's phone number to call her personally to collect back my money. I never paid the masseuse directly, but paid the salon directly. I requested that another masseuse provide the service and the salon declined. They then gave out my personal cell phone number to their ex-employee, who proceeded to call me to offer these services at a new location 2 1/2 hours drive away. This was after I specifically told them I did not want to deal with the masseuse directly as the transaction was directly between myself and the salon. I did not authorize my personal info to be given out. The total cost of the service was $228.00Desired Settlement: I do not wish to be contacted by the salon directly as I fell they were unprofessional and were rude to me over the phone.

Message:Studio 415 is a business that rents rooms to independent contractors. This independent contractor, [redacted] sold her a bulk package of 3 massages without us knowing. She charged it on a visa machine that allows 12 different contractors to collect funds directly to their account, this may be why the customer said the business collected the money. She was well aware that her agreement was with the contractor [redacted]. We reached out to [redacted] who has relocated to Lake Tahoe and [redacted] and they both agreed that 2 of the massages were used. [redacted] offered to come to Folsom to perform the massage but the customer declined. [redacted] has issued her a refund check in the amount of $72.66($218divided by 3). Studio 415 has written her an apology letter and mailed it with the check from [redacted]. We regret that this incident happened and will try to take further steps to prevent it from happening again!
