my vehicle was towed after an unfavorable review I received an email from someone named [redacted] telling me they would look into my review and my vehicle was then towed. A response from a business that I didn't have to stay there is EXTREMELY unprofessional and further confirms not only the type of establishment being run but the type if unprofessional people working there. No I didn't have to stay but unfortunately my options were limited and this place plays in the fact that many of the people that check in are there because if limited options. That is not an excuse for the unprofessional behavior. This company offered no compensation for the days without water. My vehicle being towed all the way to South Plsinfield NJ from East Brunswick is questionable in itself however was not my only complaint. There was no water for several dayside there was no compensation and to say that someone didn't have to stay sounds like the person responding is not a reliable means of escalation as they are not professional enough to respond to a customer service complaint. I can guarantee that this isn't the 1st and won't be the last complaint and it is on the record.

Review: I have been an ongoing guest at this hotel since 12/2/14.

Since I’ve been there I have dealt with extremely unprofessional staff, housekeeping repeatedly walking into my room accidentally, harassment from the front desk asking me if I’m checking out when my reservation is still in effect. Countless deactivated keys for no reason no toilet tissue no water for 3 DAYS and now the cake topper is that this place had my vehicle towed at my expense while I am a guest the lack of care and unprofessionalism is unacceptable to say the least I have never experience such behavior. It seems like they have scrapped the bottom of the barrel in their staff selection and it carries through in the patrons that wonder around. I was there because I had a family emergency that forced me there and I have had one un pleasant experience after another. The non chalant attitude about no water as though it was the cable and the fact that I was told there was no compensation from one of the rude staff members and when they don’t have answers they pull the gate down at 6 pm as though they are closed and the only way to peak to someone is to bang on the gate. My vehicle was towed from this location and now I must figure out how to pay for it. They tell me that they put a note on my car yet they had the are tapped off so when was I supposed to go over there to see a note on my car?

I intend on filing as many complaints as it takes to be compensated for the inconveniences that I experience.Desired Settlement: I would like to be compensated for the days the establishment had NO water and the $200.00 towing fee I am now responsible for because the staff neglected to make the appropiate documentaions in their system.

Response:

On the early morning hours of February 16, 2015, there was a water main break in the area of where the car in question was parked. That very same day we put notices on ALL unregistered vehicles and contacted the guest who did not register their vehicles to remove their cars from the effected area. Everyone responded to the notice except for the vehicle in question. That vehicle has been parked in the very same spot for the past few months. The vehicle itself looked like it was abandoned. It had a flat tire and none of the snow or ice from the past few snow storms was ever removed. We left the notice on the vehicle for 2 days. Since there was no response we had no other choice but to have the vehicle towed. At [redacted] it is the guest responsibility to register their vehicles with the front office. The guests are well aware of this. It is part of the registration process. On 2/1/2015 we put a notice at the front office announcing a new parking voucher that every guest had to have in their vehicle effective 2/15/2015 (the day Ms. [redacted] checked back in). Ms. [redacted] failed to register her vehicle and failed to respond to the notice posted on her vehicle clearly stating the consequences. The area was not blocked off as Ms. [redacted] states. There was in fact caution tape in the areas that the ice was really thick due to the water gushing out but everyone was able to move their vehicle. The mere statement that she knew the area to have the caution tape proves that she was aware that all vehicles were being moved and chose to ignore the notice. Also important factor to consider; Ms. [redacted] checked in on 2/15/2015, a 2 week gap from her previous stay. And in her stay before that there was a 3 week gap. Even if we had to guess who’s vehicle it was we would have never done so due to the large gaps between her stays and the fact that the vehicle was untouched for several months. All of this was explained to Ms. [redacted] but the fact of the matter is that she refuses to accept responsibility. Here at [redacted] we followed all procedures accordingly. As for the other claims of service is completely false. If she was so disappointed with our service she was not forced to stay at Studio 6. There is a Motel 6 in the very same parking lot and several other hotels in the area. She is just upset about her vehicle being towed. Ms. [redacted] has NEVER in any of her stays prior to the vehicle being towed expressed any discomfort or dissatisfaction in service. The only time we knock on someone’s door to ask if they are staying and if they have not made payment by 12:00 noon. All payments are due by 12:00 noon. Housekeepers knock on guest doors on their registered cleaning days and on the date set for departure. The only time a housekeeper will ask whether the guest are staying or checking out is if the guest are not scheduled for cleaning that day. That way they know either not to come back or to come back after check out time. No one ever walks into a room accidently. If when knocking on the door we get to response we will open the door to find out the status.
