Studio CM Photography

Review: Studio CM Photography (AKA [redacted] Photography) took fall pictures at my daughter's preschool (Apple Tree Preschool in Slidell, LA) in October 2013. The pictures had to be paid for in full prior to the pictures being taken. I paid for the photos via personal check and the check has long since cleared my bank. I ordered a package that included 2 - 8x10's, 4 - 5x7's, and 16 wallets (& 2 key tags). The key tags were to be made using 2 of the wallets out of the package of pictures. I received my package minus the 2 wallets and was told by Apple Tree staff that the key tags would be delivered at a later date. I waited, but after not receiving the key tags I inquired again with the Apple Tree staff. The director of Apple Tree sent home a letter indicating that Studio CM Photography had closed and that all of her calls and text messages to the owners of Studio CM Photography had gone unanswered. The director indicated that some parents did not receive key tags and others did not receive their panoramic portraits, 8x10 portraits, and one parent did not receive their entire package. All of these photos, like mine, would have had to have been paid for prior to the pictures being taken. On January 17, 2013, I sent messages to Studio CM Photography via their Facebook page and their website (www.studiocmphotography.com) asking that someone contact me regarding my missing photos. As of today, I have not heard from anyone. On January 21, 2013, I went by the location of Studio CM Photography at 2159 Gause Blvd E, Slidell, LA and there are signs in the front window showing that the building is for lease and appears to be empty. No additional contact information for Studio CM Photography or [redacted] were indicated at that address. I have done everything that I know of to try to contact Ms. [redacted] or anyone affiliated with this studio to try and get my missing photos and possibly see what can be done for the other parents who have paid for photos and not received them!Desired Settlement: I would like to have my 2 wallets that were missing from my pack of photographs that I paid for in full and in advance. Also, I would like to have some resolution for the other parents who are also missing photographs of their children.

Review: I ordered pictures from Studio CM Photography through Apple Tree Preschool. Part of my order has not yet been received. A letter dated 1/17/14 from the director of Apple Tree Preschool stated that her "calls and text messages to this family go unanswered" and asked that we file a complaint with the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive the remainder of my order or have my money refunded.

Review: I took pictures with this company in the past (when it was [redacted] Photography) and I have never had any issues with them until recently. I took my senior portraits in August 2013 and was told that I had to pay my entire balance before the photos could be ordered. I finished paying off my photos mid-September and I was told that my pictures would be available for pick up in two weeks, and I haven't heard anything since then. I have called the business numerous times over the past month, my mother has visited the studio at random hours and even left a note on the door and we still have yet to hear from them. It is now November 19, 2013 and I graduate in exactly a month and my announcements had to go out without these photos that were supposed to be included in them. We purposely ordered extra photos for each announcement and I am highly disappointed that I had no photos to send out. I cannot take pictures with any other company because we have not been refunded for the pictures that we have already paid for. I need some type of action to be done ASAP so I could at least have pictures to send with my thank you cards.Desired Settlement: I would either like what I ordered plus some extras or a total refund (including my session fee).

Review: On Friday, Sept.27, 2013, I came down from Picayune, MS for my son and his girlfriend to have Homecoming pictures at Studio CM Photography formerly known as Carmen Maurin Photography . We had a 7:15 appointment time they attend Picayune Memorial High School. The young lady (photographer) was very sweet and seemed to do a very well job. My son and his girlfriend was very pleased her. They are both anxious and excited to see their proofs. The young lady (unsure of her name) stated the proofs would be send over to my email that upcoming Monday Sept. 30 for our viewing as well as the pano pictures on facebook. I paid for the pictures in full on $68.00 worth of pictures. Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, I called to see if maybe I miss understood the young lady and a young man answered the phone assuring I did not misunderstand her. He stated he was unsure of the email being correct and took my email down again. He stated he would have the pictures through to my email as well as pano pics on facebook that evening. I told him if they were running behind it was ok just let me know so I could tell the kids. He stated no it was fine I would get them that night. I waited until 10:30 p.m. that night checking my email as well as facebook and no pictures ever come through. Wednesday Oct. 2, 2013, I called and left a message at the studio #[redacted].--No response back from anyone at your studio.Thursday Oct. 3, 2013, I left another message at studio #[redacted] again.--No response back from anyone at your studio. Friday Oct. 4, 2013, I drove down from Picayune, MS to your studio no one appeared to be there, lights out, and called the studio no answer. No message left this day.Tuesday Oct. 8, 2013, left message at studio--No response back from anyone at your studio Wednesday Oct. 9, 2013, left message at studio--No response back from anyone at your studioThursday Oct. 10, 2013, left message at studio--No response back from anyone at your studio. Friday Oct. 11, 2013, returned to Slidell again to run errands passed by your studio. There was a note on door saying out of studio on site. I left a message this day as well letting you all how many messages I had already left you guys at this point I was very irritated and did let you know I would contact the Revdex.com if necessary. I still did not get any response. Tuesday Oct. 14, 2013, I called three times still no answer left two messages and still no response. Wednesday Oct. 15, 2013, I wrote a letter and send it certified mail to Studio CM Photography.Thursday Oct. 16, 2013, I drove over to the Studio to see if anyone was there. The lights were out nothing had been moved in the Studio still a complete mess from taking Homecoming pictures. I went next door to the mail center and mailed the certified letter. Every day after Oct. 16, 2013 I have called the Studio and left messages up to today anywhere from 1-3 times daily. I have drove over on my lunch break the Studio is closed. On Oct. 30, 2013, I received a return to sender on my certified mail.Oct. 31, 2013, I went over to the Studio and placed the copy of certified mail on their door in and envelope with a note. I have already paid for my package in full on Sept. 27, 2013. The young lady wrote down my credit card number and said she was going to run it on the following Monday Oct. 1, 2013 when the office reopened. It's unfortunate; I cannot afford to recreate Homecoming for professional pictures for my son and his now ex-girlfriend. I feel like we wasted our time coming down from Picayune, MS for a photo session that we will probably never see pictures from.
