Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:These remarks are unbelievable and I can not understand how any one, let alone this owner is saying that there is nothing wrong with this room(s)Didn't he see the pictures I sent?! After seeing them, you can not tell me that there were only two things wrong! First of all, there should not have been anything wrong at all! This room that we were in and that my father was in, was NOT updated and most of all NOT clean for anyone, period How much more do I or we have to bicker back and forth? Totally unsanitary, despicable and grossly unacceptable for anyone to be able to sleep thereThe heater in my Father's room did not work, he tried everything possible to get that relic working, he knows how to work the thing and it was not on cooling or off It did NOT work periodSince he could not get it to work, how do you think someone from your office could make it work? They aren't mechanics This is ridiculous that I am having to defend myself and my family with all of this crap NO ONE should be staying at this so called MotelI will send the pictures once again, to show Revdex.com again and hopefully they will take another look at them and see these are the facts Please show Mr [redacted] how disgusting this place is I am very frustrated right now, that I am having to even go through this, let alone that this place was even a place to stay inHow can this be acceptable, how can this place be approved to be able to keep their doors open? Isn't there state, city, county regulations? Yes, there is and this place should have never been approved If Mr***, says there is something better (another room), why didn't we get that room in the first place? Because there was not another room and not anything better, possibly worseTo say that they are all clean and updated, he must be thinking of a completely different place or a made up room to be able to pass the criteria's of the state, city, county regulations.I do not need to discuss, the capabilities of the front office or lack of capabilities obviouslyThis is not my primary complaint, it is the rooms! The front office is secondary to all of this Where is the responsibility of the owner and running a business?This motel speaks for itself, go look at it Revdex.comYes, I went straight to the Revdex.com, there was NO reason to go to the front desk as I have stated in previous letters, what was the front desk going to do with this unacceptable, unsanitary place? NOTHING All rooms were booked, period Yes, I went straight to the Revdex.com, they are suppose to be the people/group that helps consumers like myself and business' to NOT have to go though this crap If this place was being watched and going through state inspections like they are suppose to be, I'm beginning to wonder if the Revdex.com or state inspections are or were being inspectedIf it were, this place would not have been considered acceptable for any human to be at, it should be closed Yes, I went to the Revdex.com first, because there is no reasoning with someone that doesn't care (front office), or even would know how to take care of this despicable situation Unacceptable periodOwn up to your disgusting motel, own up to the fact you don't care about the customer, own up to the lack of quality you show in this motelOwn up to all you want is money and people are not a priorityOwn up to being caught and be being called out on the truth of this so called motelTake responsibility for your business, as an ownerHave more respect for others Don't try to cover up something that is the fact and obviousWhat are you trying to hide?, by saying that this is and I quote, " a shakedown" Really?! Imperial Motel [redacted] January 3, [redacted] Dear Ms***, The pictures we are seeing are not showing anything wrong with the rooms except there is some kind of mark on the bedsheet and the tub has a little bit of browning because of the caulking around it has started to wear outThis is a small mom and pop motel, not a big franchise but we still keep it cleanImperial was built in the early 1940ts so yes the building is old but we keep our rooms updatedWe encourage the Revdex.com to come and check the rooms for themselvesHow does Mrs [redacted] just assume that the front desk could not have done anything? Yes, Odessa was full but the motel still had other rooms available that we could of switched them to if they were unhappyAlso, the heater in that room works just fine, we have rented that room plenty of times since then and itts been runningThe weather has been colder now and that heater is workingThat room has a heater/cooler combo unit and you have to switch it to the heat setting and raise the temperatureHe could of called the front desk and said that his heater was not working and the front desk would of went up and checked it outThe front desk could of done everything, had they just spoke upWe do not keep our doors lockedThe front offce is open hours, and when they came in the moming they could of rang the bellYes, someone is not standing behind the desk 2417, but ring the bell and someone will come from the backWe even have two doorbells on the counter instructing people to ring the bellShe could of rang either one and someone would of been thereWe have no drop box, unless some people left their keys in the moming before we had a chance to collect them, but is excessiveWe've had all walks of life stay in our rooms, people with kids, the elderly, etcWe do not get the type of complaints that Mrs [redacted] had expressedWe've seen other motels in Odessa that describe what Mrs [redacted] expressed but Imperial Motel is not one of themOur issue is that Mrs [redacted] nor anyone in her party never once said anything to the front desk and went straight to Revdex.comThis just seems like a shakedownRegards, [redacted] ***

I am rejecting this response because:I have attached the file with photos of the room we stayed in. I highly
doubt that it was remodeled any time soonIt was filthy. There was no
need to complain to the front desk, there was a man and a woman working it at
night and they could not have done anything about itThe rooms were completely
booked up and so was the whole town of Odessa and Midland, nothing for miles
away. Also, when we went to check out, the door was locked and there was
a drop box and at least keys already in it. We didn't have a chance to
speak to someone in the morning. In the first place why would they put
anyone in that room. The whole motel was and is deplorable,
unsanitary.
I would like for someone with the Revdex.com to go to rooms and
and see for yourselves. In room were my father stayed had NO heat, he
was frozen all night long
I should have gone and complained, but it would have fell
of deft ears, no way could they have helped us out at all
Yes, I DO want a refund for both rooms and yes I want the Revdex.com to
know about this place and for others to know about how disgusting this motel
is. I will say Imperial Hotel is a negative star rating and will and have
let others know not to stay there. So, unacceptable. My husband is
in the process of contacting the different parties that we went through for
this motel.I do NOT want a family with children or anyone for that matter to have to stay in such a place

received a complaint letter on December 6, about my business and was given the assigned ID # *** In the letter the customer complained about the room being filthy, unsanitary, and just plain deplorableAt no point did the customer address these issues with the officeIf the room was disgusting, then why did the customer not come into the office and ask for another room or a refund? have no problem giving a refund if the customer is unhappy, but they need to come and let someone at the front desk knowThey could of came right away or a few hours later, but no one complainedThey did not even let the front desk know at check-out that they were unhappy with the room, even then we could have done something to appease the customerTo my knowledge they stayed the entire night, and if they had a problem they could of told usThe customer went through a 3rd party to book the roomAndrea *** from *** called the motel, and booked two rooms for one night on the company's credit cardI called Ms*** to see if the customer had requested a refund or complained and she said no, that there was nothing in their systemAlso, to be noted one of the rooms that the customer stayed in had been re done in August and the other was re done in early By re done I mean it was gutted completely, and replaced with new carpet, new paint, and new drapesI haven't received any complaints prior to this customer about those rooms this yearI understand that Odessa is an expensive city to rent a room in right now because the demand is highI do not know how much the customer paid in commission to the 3rd party, but we have guests staying daily and weekly with little complaintsThe customer is making it seem like it's a hazard to stay at this motel, our reputation on Revdex.com does not precede thisIf there are any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact meThank You, *** *** Owner
