Sent: Friday, March 17, 2017 6:47 AM Subject: ID [redacted] hi I received a letter from you guys about a complaint from one of our customers and would like to respond to the complaint.    The customer showed up at our salon on Monday feb.27 and stated that all of her shellac had "fallen off"...

the past Friday and they she was here on Thursday to get the shellac. it is impossible for shellac to just "fall off". once its cured with the UV light there is no was for it to just "fall off". Her nails were completely clear of all the polish, so we had nothing to see and no way to see what was wrong, obviously she had pick or peeled it off. Before we even had a chance to see when she was really here, we offered to redo the shellac for a discounted rate. at first she agreed at first, then she wanted another nail service instead. She wanted a higher priced service done at that discounted rate, we informed her that the discounted rate would only apply to the same service she received originally. She then became irate and started to try and make a scene. so we declined further service to her and asked her to leave. She later came up with this story about messing one of them up while unlocking her door and posted that story with [redacted] This customer has changed her story several times and has lied about the dates that she was here for her service. after checking our books, we found out that she was actually here on Monday feb 20th. so it had already been a week. shellac will only last about 2 weeks if you take good care of it, and a week if you dont. At first we did offer to redo her shellac for a discounted rate, she should have taken the offer. we no longer are extending this offer to her since we now know the full details and she is attempting to make it seem like we did something wrong. Attached is a copy of her receipt that shows the date that she was here and proves that she has not been truthful in her attempt to smear our business.    thanks Studio Nails & Spa

I did make a mistake on the dates. I did go in on a Monday and the Shellac began peeling off (from the cuticle line) on Friday. It was so bad that my hair was getting caught in it as well as my dogs fur. I did not make a scene nor was I asked to leave. The owner said that she would redo the shellac at no cost to me, this was only after I began crying and explaining to her that I am a loyal customer and why would you treat me this way.  I made several calls to the shop(to inform her of the peeling) and was told over and over that "the owner not here", so I was not able to talk to her over the phone. Once the owner told me that she would redo my nails, I sat an waiting several minutes for she to finish painting plastic nail samples. While sitting there she began talking in her native language to her employees about me, that is when I decided to leave.

Her story has changed again and again. I had a few other customers that were in the shop during the time she was here, they made comments in reguaurd to her behavior. This is the last response I'm going to make on this. I'm going to consider this issue closed now. Thanks
