In response to the above complaint number, the car was, in fact, keyed while in our care and our insurance company paid for all damagesWith the owner's permission, we sent the car to a well known body shop for repairsAfter approximately weeks, the owner informed us he wanted a body shop in his
area to do the repairsAs our local body shop had started on the car, we had to have the car towed, at our expense, to his body shopSo there were some pieces taken off by the body shop that were sent along with the car.We made it perfectly clear to the owner that when the body shop was done with the car we needed it back to finish it tune-wise and chewiseWe even volunteered to pick it up at our expenseWenever heard from him againOn May 2, there was a video on his wife's *** page that was showing the car racing at Beaver Springs DragStrip in the second bracket and a video on J-tube at another dyno shop getting tuned and checked.As far as the rear end gears, they were installed as per his adviceWe have a number of gears and other high performance parts in our inventory.I assume the bottom line is we did not do the final tuning and going over the entire engine as we told him we had to do to completely finish the jobHe said he had to pay another tuning shop to fix thingsthat were not hooked up right yet he claims damage for things not hooked up right after it left their shop.If I can be of further assistance, please feel free to contact meThank you for your consideration in this matter.Sincerely yours,Ray ES***, Pres
I hope this letter settles the above problemI will not respond to the lies that are being told by the customerAs I stated previously, he was told numerous times to bring the car back to our shop for the final going over of the engine and final tuneHis vehicle was towed up to the body shop of his choosing at our expense and at that time we told him we would tow it back to our shop at our expenseHe stated he would get in touch with us when the body work was doneHe failed to mention that we loaned him one of our shop vehicles for some time.Every shop tunes differentlySince the car was not brought back to us for the final review and tune, we feel we are not responsible for the carThe other tune shop should be responsible for itThey finished the vehicle and if there was anything not right with it, they should have found itWe tune cars that have been at other shops and then brought to us and we always go over the engine first before we do a tune to make sure everything is correct for the way we tune, and have had to do some changes ourselves to these vehicles before doing them by our standards of tuning.Thank you for the opportunity to address this matter.Very truly yours,Ray ES***
