I want the issue to be resolved I have waited around all summer being patient stumpf has taken advantage of my kindness I want the issue resolved this week and there Revdex.com rating to be decreased this is one of the worst customer service situations I've ever been Involved in and don't appreciate being lied to I would like a refund of my deposit because I've had to deal with this both my neighbor and I water our grass and their is always pooling water in the area it has created an issue between my neighbor and I as well as an eye sore for when I have company over I think waiting all summer for a "simple fix" is ridiculous.Revdex.com:

I was contracted by [redacted] to install the lawn at [redacted] Pass on April 22, 2014. Down payment CK# 612 for $300.00. Lawn was scheduled for spring but got pushed back due to [redacted] losing her employment. She asked if there was a way to cut cost. I explained a few things to...

her & said most of the work is mechanical. As far as I know the site sat thru summer with no maintenance. Site was weedy when work started on August 27th., however timing for the installation of the lawn was great.(Fall Seeding) When work started on site I set lawn grades to the subdivision specs in accor[redacted]ce with Village of Harrison. Grade on the south side needed to be cut down some. Not an issue because lot was vacant. The grade between the [redacted] and [redacted] Papermaker was off approximately 14". Stumpf's notified the [redacted] & the neighbor of the situation. The grade was cut in to the correct grade. We offered to fix the neighbors, the neighbor declined & said he was having his landscaper fix the area a second time. I told the [redacted] at that time that gutter protection will be needed for the entire site , especially the north site where the grade sloped off more. Running downspouts to the property edge was not going to work because of the grade. It needed to be ran to the road. Stumpf Creative recommends this to every homeowner having a lawn installed to help prevent wash out. Lawn was completed the following day. August 28th. Instruction were given to homeowner & told them to follow instructions. The area did receive rain over that weekend and did wash out north property lot line some. Checked on site a few times in that time. Told homeowners site needed to be fertilized by Oct. [redacted] picked up 50lbs. slow release fertilizer(22-0-7 +2% iron)for the lawn on October 3, 2014 which bill is outstanding. Seed was given to him at no charge also to apply to some bare areas. Lawn was looking good going into winter. Nothing was ever said about wash out, a low area holding water, or grass not growing in that area.  I called and left a message for [redacted] on January 27, 2015 regarding the fertilizer invoice. Never received a call back regarding the outstanding bill. Talked with [redacted] in April and said I would look at site. Site was looked at May 6th. Grass was established on entire site for only having 3-4 months of growing time. Told [redacted] lawn needed to be fertilized again to feed young grass. [redacted] & I missed each other by phone [redacted]'s call 5-29-15. Return call to [redacted] on 6-1-15. [redacted] call 6-4-15. [redacted] reached me by phone on June 15th. Asked when trench/washout was to be fixed & questioned the quality of the seed saying lots of clover in the grass seed. I told the homeowner that the trench/washout was not my responsibility and there is no clover seed in our custom seed mix. There is 0.01% inert matter in the mix. Set a time with him the next day to look at yard. Looked at site and told [redacted] the clover is in the existing ground. The empty lots next to the yard has a lot of clover growing everywhere. Told [redacted] clover needed to be sprayed with a broad leaf herbicide. Lot was starting to dry up. Large cracks in lawn were visible which tells me no watering was being done. We looked at side yard where wash out was, this was the first time I was told about a low area. Grass is established in the area. Water was not standing in area at this time. I told him I would need to check low area with a laser to see if area could be filled. Told him if work was needed, we would work it in when a crew had a couple hours to fix area. Also asked when next fertilizing was going to be applied. He said a company was schedule to apply fertilizer. At this point I asked [redacted] about the fertilizer bill from January. He said he would pay bill when work was complete. Said fertilizing has nothing to do with low area. Product was picked up last fall. [redacted] last call to Stumpf's. No date recorded. Asked when work was going to be completed, stated the neighbors were getting mad because of the standing water. I told him work will get done, I needed a crew free for a couple hours. Was not starting the day with a small project. Also stated to [redacted] that we have not received rain. Wondered how area could be wet. [redacted] said he was going to call the Revdex.com if work was not done in a week. I told him I would do what I can, when a crew was freed up. Asked him to pay fertilizer bill. Said he would pay bill when area was fixed. [redacted] stated he called Stumpf's on July 3rd. Stumpf Creative was closed due to the holiday. No message was received.Stumpf Creative Landscapes has been in business for 42 years. If there is a low area in the yard, Stumpf's will fill the area at no charge. This has nothing to do with the fertilizer bill from last fall. Bill should have been paid last year. Please call or email me here to discuss this matter further. Review: My wife and I hired Stumpf Creative landscaping to install grass on our new house we built last year (2014). The grass itself is installed but our grade for the yard is off and pooling water on my property the grass is not growing in that area because of the excess amount of water that pools during watering of my yard and storms. I have contacted [redacted] Jr. Stumpf at the beginning of April to have the issue resolved. [redacted] Jr. has come out to my residence twice now to look at the issue, after the first time looking at it I was home and he just left after observing the area. I didn't hear anything back from him in three weeks time so I tried to contact him numerous times leaving messages with his receptionist which were never returned. I did however manage to contact him one day about 2 weeks after that so approximately 5 weeks after he came out to look at my yards condition, which his statement to me was that it wasn't his issue and that he had already installed my grass and if I would like it fixed he could do it but he would charge me additional. After that I was very frustrated because not only did I pay him in full to grade, add top soil and seed but now he is telling me that it isn't his problem but he didn't even care to contact me and let me know that he wasn't going to fix it. I responded with that is unacceptable and it needs to be fixed. He than agreed to come out and look at it again the next week to see what can be done. I waited until the end of the next week and did not receive a call email or any bit of communication from [redacted] Jr. saying he wasn't going to be coming out. I again tried to contact him and took another three weeks of my time to contact him and have him come out to my house, this is now in the middle of June. [redacted] Jr came to my property and after looking at the yard and seeing the damage and poor quality of work he agreed we would have one of his guys come out and fix it and laser it to make sure it is draining properly. I thanked him for working with me on this issue and for his time to come out and look at it again. I waited another 2 weeks to hear back from Stumpf and didn't hear back so on July 3rd 2015 almost 1 year after I hired and paid him for a service that was suppose to be provided I called [redacted] Jr at Stumpf landscaping and asked what the deal was and why my yard is still not corrected, he said that my grass isn't a priority and that it will be fixed whenever. I again being a paid in full customer from the day that he installed my grass and handed him the check said that it is not okay for this to go on, it is creating a problem with my neighbor being the issues is in my yard but along the lot line there is mud and a mosquito festering ground and that I will give him 2 weeks to fix the issue or give me a date that the issue will be resolved otherwise I am forced to file a complaint with the Revdex.com. I have now waited 2 1/2 weeks and still have not heard from anyone at stumpf landscaping. At this point I am extremely unhappy with not only the service but lack of professionalism on their part. I am now at the point of having to fix it myself or to hire someone else to fix the issue and pay more for something that should never have been an issue or at least should not have taken to long to get a rough date of when the yard would be fixed.Desired Settlement: I would like for either a partial refund and Stumpf to come out and fix the issue or a full refund and no more communication from the business of Stumpf landscaping.
