For one Daniel did not spend minutes discussing the entire project with me on MondayHe spent most of the time talking the project over with his workersFor one he has a written documented correction order that was issued to me and given to him by me from the city inspectorSo both you and him have everything that you need to complete the projectIt is incorrect to say that the project is ahead of scheduleThe project start date is when the work actually begins not some presumptive date for when you might expect to start the projectThe contract is the guiding principle of the projectOnce work actually starts the project beginsThe project was completed once and was not completed in accordance with city mandated codes so mandatory corrections need to be madeThe only schedule that we are on now is to complete what was startedTo the question of communicationI have sent any number of documented e-mails to you and text messages to you and to DanielDaniel has only responded to one text message and that was with a photograph of some post that he sent me on Monday. I spoke to Daniel last Monday the same day as the inspection and was told he would be out to correct the problem that weekThat did not happenI spoke to you on Tuesday and you said he told you he would be out next weekI told you that he told me something different and ask was he telling you something different than what he was telling meI contacted him again on Thursday and he indicated that he would be back on Monday. I have every right to file a complaint if I am not satisfied with the communication or the progress of my projectThis project has been fully paid for by me and I have met every contractual obligation afforded under the contractIt is your responsibility to fulfill your obligation the contractI find your responses very defensive constantly complaining about the city code when the code was part of the permitting process which should be part of the pre-review processThis project was in the planning for monthsLastly, I do not appreciate the belligerent nature of your phone call or the remark about me needing medical treatmentThese are not remarks of a professionalThe tone of your voice was very unprofessional. I had a very positive experience with Stumpy's Dennis responded quickly to my request for a quote and promptly to all subsequent questions The crew did an excellent job restoring my deck and I appreciated the senior discount I highly recommend Dennis and his crew Customer service and quality of work are top notch!

I'm not sure what is being rejected. We built the deck for this gentleman and we have gone well out of our way to meet his needs and the cities needs.Unfortunately, this gentleman's continued abuse of our company and our employees has exacerbated a very simple solution to complete some corrections noted upon inspection. This is not uncommon as we deal with numerous cities and inspectors across the Cities.The gentleman continues to indicate that we are not helping him or completing his project while we are actually working on his project. He has even gone as far as to complain that screws are not secured on the deck while our team is physically working on a specific area of the deck.We are uncertain as to why this individual is issuing any type of complaint at this point. Oddly, the initial construction was ONLY COMPLETED A WEEK AGO and we clearly indicated that we would return Monday (Yesterday 10/3). In fact, we had our lead contact him Friday 9/30/after we communicated similarly multiple times that we would be happy to complete the requested updates requested by the city. We witnessed the call and have documentation of the call. This was done as this person has consistently "created" issues of non-communication. Sure enough, the next day this person filled the complaint with the Revdex.com indicating that we had not contacted him or communicated with him.10-3-: We returned, as communicated numerous times, to complete the project. Again, for two days, we received complaints that we are not helping him (as our team is actually working on his deck). I communicate to this individual my concern that we are responding to him, communicating clearly, and WORKING ON HIS DECK while he is complaining that we are not helping. We also communicated that emails and text messages sent after pm are typically responded to the following business day. This individual would send texts or emails, for instance, on a Sunday evening after 8:pm and become disturbingly upset if his texts/emails were not responded to in less than a few seconds. In addition, we started this project two weeks earlier than initially indicated to the customer. With that in mind, we are way ahead of any initially discussed completion date. Despite the confusing/disturbing conduct of this individual, we will complete the project professionallyWe have done everything possible to assist and we will insure that the deck meet all local codes We look forward to completion

We have spoken to the customer multiple times and emailed him multiple times indicating that we will be returning this week to complete corrections to the handrail. I'm really uncertain as to why a complaint was filed

Stumpy's is a very reliable, prompt and professional business and is very easy to work withThey power washed, sanded and stained decksThey power washed landscape stepping stones through out the yardAnd they also power washed a paver patio and added set/sand between the paversAll of these things had
been neglected for years in a very wooded and shady areaStumpy's totally returned everything to better than new condition
They had to work around some very early unseasonable Fall weather and did a fabulous jobI would highly recommend them
to everyone
