We have spoken to the customer multiple times and emailed him multiple times indicating that we will be returning this week to complete corrections to the handrail.  I'm really uncertain as to why a complaint was filed.

Contactor: October 4, 2016 at 10:26AM after receiving belligerent phone call from owner in addition to insulting comments about my medical health at 9:40 AM  Dennis, Though I appreciate your follow up I am concerned that you are misinformed about our discussions during the past week and are acting defensive because you have been taken to task for something that was completely avoidable. For one Daniel did not spend 20 minutes discussing the entire project with me on Monday. He spent most of the time talking the project over with his workers. For one he has a written documented correction order that was issued to me and given to him by me from the city inspector. So both you and him have everything that you need to complete the project. It is incorrect to say that the project is ahead of schedule. The project start date is when the work actually begins not some presumptive date for when you might expect to start the project. The contract is the guiding principle of the project. Once work actually starts the project begins. The project was completed once and was not completed in accordance with city mandated codes so mandatory corrections need to be made. The only schedule that we are on now is to complete what was started. To the question of communication. I have sent any number of documented e-mails to you and text messages to you and to Daniel. Daniel has only responded to one text message and that was with a photograph of some post that he sent me on Monday. I spoke to Daniel last Monday the same day as the inspection and was told he would be out to correct the problem that week. That did not happen. I spoke to you on Tuesday and you said he told you he would be out next week. I told you that he told me something different and ask was he telling you something different than what he was telling me. I contacted him again on Thursday and he indicated that he would be back on Monday. I have every right to file a complaint if I am not satisfied with the communication or the progress of my project. This project has been fully paid for by me and I have met every contractual obligation afforded under the contract. It is your responsibility to fulfill your obligation the contract. I find your responses very defensive constantly complaining about the city code when the code was part of the permitting process which should be part of the pre-review process. This project was in the planning for months. Lastly, I do not appreciate the belligerent nature of your phone call or the remark about me needing medical treatment. These are not remarks of a professional. The tone of your voice was very unprofessional.  I do not owe you anything and you are not doing me any favors. Anything that you do is to complete what was contractually obligated to be completed. I will be sure to follow-up with Revdex.com regarding these conversations. Thank you.
