While using the internet an ad regarding a cream to remove puffiness under the eyes hijacked my screen. I read it and decided to try the sample offered for 5.95 shipping. I clicked to pay and another item popped up for 3.95. I don't even remember what it was for, but I was unable to go back of cancel it, so I included it also thinking that if they didn't work, I so lose less than $10.00. I put in the information and pretty much forgot about it. When it came a few days or so later, I tried it to no avail. I was no shocked. What product does what it says regarding aging effects?
About a week later, I was out of town and discovered that there was a hold on my checking account. When I called my bank, I was told that there was some unusual withdrawal and they believed that I needed to be notified. To my surprise, Stunning Beauty and Eyecare... had taken out $109.00 and $103.00 respectively without my permission. They had my info so they went into my account and took out what they later said was the cost of the products and were intending to remove that amount monthly had I not been made aware of it.
I called them and asked them to return my money. The were willing to give me 40% or 50% but not all of it alleging that it was a 14 day trial. There was nothing indicating that this was a trial. The ad said a sample to try risk free.
If it were trial, how would 14 days be sufficient? When does the 14 days begin/end? The money came out in less than 14 days.
Even if that was the case, 14 days did not expire before the money was deducted.
May I reiterate, there was no trial...There was no 14 day period agreed to .It was a risk free sample.
These people are committing fraud by getting your account info for a promise of a free sample and then going back into your account and taking some egregiously exorbitant amount that grossly over pays for an inferior product that they cannot sell fairly.

Desired Outcome

Refund They have refunded one of the charges. They owe me $103.00 Please refund me my money. I can not afford hundreds of dollars for creams that work even.And these don't.

We would like to bring into your notice that, it is mandatory to accept the terms before placing the order. Please note that despite putting all the credit card details, the order does not go through until unless you check mark on the box which states, "I agree that I am 18 years of age and agree to the Terms & Conditions and the Privacy policy". Upon checking on the box, the terms of the program appears on the screen. When customer reads the all the terms and scroll down, the "Accept" button is activated at the end. Once the customer accepts the terms and click on "Submit" button the order goes through and shipping and charges are applied. However, we would like you to review our policies. For the reference the cancellation and refund policy stated in our Terms & Conditions are mentioned below:
TRIAL OFFER AND SUBSCRIPTION
The Company also offers a 14 day trial offer of Product, conveniently coupled with automatic enrollment in Company's subscription service ("Subscription"). We are confident you will enjoy using the Product, and invite you to try it. However, you are only eligible to receive a single 14 day trial offer from the Company. The 14 day trial offer includes a full 30 day supply of Product and an automatic enrollment in a subscription. By submitting an order for a trial offer, you agree to pay a non-refundable shipping and handling fee as will be detailed on the Website prior to checkout, but is generally less than $6.95. Please note that shipping and handling fee will appear as two separate charges on your credit card statement.
If you are not satisfied with the Product in your trial offer, you should immediately contact customer service representatives to process a cancellation. Alternatively, you may send an email with "Cancellation" as the written subject heading, to ***. In the event that your email fails to contain the appropriate subject heading, your cancellation may not be processed.
Your 14 day trial offer use period begins from the date your order is submitted on the Website. To avoid automatic enrollment in a subscription, you must cancel your trial before expiration of the 14 day trial period. If you cancel your Subscription before the end of the 14 day trial offer use period, you will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization ("RMA") number via email to return the Product. REFUND POLICY AND PROCEDURE.
All sales are final once the Product is delivered by the Company to the carrier. However, the Company, in its sole discretion, may offer a refund of up to the purchase price for authorized, returned products. The Company is entitled to retain a restocking fee of $20.00 or 20% of the total purchase price, whichever is greater. Due to the nature of the Product, the Company can only process refund for unused Product returned in an acceptable condition suitable for resale, received within 30 days from the date the order is placed. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please call customer service at***, and a customer service representative will assist you in processing any eligible refund request pursuant to the Company's Refund Policy and in the Company's sole discretion.
To properly ensure the processing of an authorized refund, and as a requirement of our Refund Policy and Procedure, you must call customer service to obtain an RMA number and to process your refund request. Case Summary:
According to our records, *** visited our website and placed an order for our products Prache Anti Aging cream and Prache Anti Aging serum on October 31st, 2019.
We are sorry for any misunderstanding and inconvenience caused from it. Please allow us to explain that our company doesn't deal in samples or free products. We offer 30-days products to our customers with a 14-days trial period to determine their effectiveness. If a customer isn't satisfied with the products he/she has full rights to request cancellation in order to avoid being charged for the products.
Therefore, on October 31st 2019, ***'s account was charged with shipping and handling for the products Prache Anti Aging serum and Prache Anti Aging cream. The products were shipped using USPS (United States Postal Services) and following is the tracking number: ***.
When 14-days trial period ended, as per the agreement, ***'s bank account was charged with the actual price of the products Prache Anti Aging serum and Prache Anti Aging cream that she had received during the trial period.
*** contacted us on November 27th 2019 regarding the charge which was taken out for the product Prache Anti Aging cream. In her conversation with our executive she informed us that she never ordered or received the product and requested cancellation and refund of the charge. Unfortunately, due to bad connection the call was disconnected and we were unable to fulfill her requests.
Few hours later, *** called us regarding both of the charges, requesting her accounts to be cancelled and charges refunded. Our customer support executive explained the program as she was unaware of it. We were informed by *** that she would reach out her bank in this matter. Our executive tried to help by offering 40/50% partial refund. She didn't agree to it but accepted to return the products for refund. Return merchandise authorization numbers were provided along with 30-days to return product and obtain a refund. She was told that her bank account would be credited after a deduction of $20.00 restocking fee (applies on each product) on arrival of her return at our facility. She even called us after a while and confirmed it.
Unfortunately, ever since, we have not received any update on her return due to which only $109.00 was credited into her account. It was credited on December 31st, 2019. Furthermore, we would also like to inform you that the accounts for the products Prache Anti Aging serum and Prache Anti Aging cream have been cancelled out effective from November 27th, 2019. All her bank details have been deactivated and we can no longer process any transactions onto her account. We request *** to share the tracking information with us if available so that we can proceed accordingly.

Please have them mail me a check instead of going into my account. I do not trust them.
More than four months have passed and this company has ignored both the BBC complaint along with my request for the refund of $103.00 that was taken from my account without authorization.
None of the terms listed above were available to me. I did not go to your website. It just appeared while I was online. It would not let me cancel the second item and since it was less than 10.00 I didn't think that much about it.
Maybe it would be a good product to sample. I had no idea that you would steal over $200.00 from my account. There was no indication of 14 day trial.
I would imagine that it took this four months to put together the above info that should have been given in October when I ordered.
I closed my account so that you would not go back in it. I cannot afford to have dishonest people in my account.
Please send me a check for $103.00 to my home address.
