we inspected the vehicle for a pre purchase inspection , the vehicle was scan*** for fault codes , the fluids where checked , we check the vehicle for oil leaks , loose or worn suspension parts ,engine performance , transmission shifting , brake performance , as well as all accessories , and then finally when the vehicle was on the lift we inspected the undercarriage for damage and the body for previous body work if any this vehicle is all wheel drive , last we had the vehicle in gear running on the lift and noticed the right front rim on the inside had a flat spot consistant with the wheel being bottomed out , as slight as it was it could still be driven , the area was not that bad of a section of the wheel rim and this being the right front wheel the one that hits the curb or pot hole it was a very common occurance to see the front right wheel with some form of damage even thought THERE WAS NO VISIBLE EVIDENCE FROM THE OUTSIDE WE TOLD THE CUSTOMER OF OUR FINDINGS

business has falsely claimed that the wheel in question has a FLAT section on the part of steel wheel that is in contact with the roadThey used that diagnosis to explain vibrations on the carThey are not acknowledging the fact they have given consistent written and verbal statements the wheel is FLATThat means as the wheel rotates, the FLAT is causing a vibration as it gets in contact with the roadNow they are saying they want to show "inside bent wheel" which is different than FLAT wheelThe inside bent could mean some bent on the wheel in a place that is not in contact with the roadThat kind of issue is not the same as FLAT wheelThat kind of issue is cosmetic and would not cause the vibration they say it causesThe only condition I would return to their shop is to bring with me another mechanic who have taken a look at the wheel and found no problem with itThis mechanic I would bring specializes in wheel repair and they found the wheel did not have FLAT section.Regards,
