Style Lend

We initially received a message from [redacted] regarding her dress that had not arrived on time after the US postal office had delayed it for a day. She was leaving that day for a wedding out of town, so we worked with her to make sure she'd get another dress shipped to her hotel she was staying at....

We have text message conversations trying to help her choose a dress, we sent her various options and she selected the two piece dress. We spent a lot of money over-nighting the dress to her (which of course we were happy to do since the postal office delayed her other dress). The dress did not meet her standards when she had received it. At Style Lend, when you receive a dress you are not satisfied with, you have 24 hours to submit a fit return and return it back to us (with our prepaid shipping label) for a full refund. After 24 hours, you receive an account credit. The customer missed the fit return mark, and when she emailed us, it did not seem like she was looking for us to compensate her even though she was late. She had just mentioned that the dress didn't work out and she was sending it back. She sent it back 3 days later, even though we normally require a 24 hour send back. We not only credited [redacted] the $60 amount on Style Lend credit, we gave her an additional $20. We took close to a $200 loss sending [redacted] these items. So we do understand her frustration of spending money on her other dress, but we also did as well. Update: Our CEO just got off the phone with [redacted] and told her all this information.
