We were vending at a Flea Market in Mattoon,IL with "over the counter" cosmetics on our table. Stated that they were sold as Authentic cosmetics but we are not an authorized dealer nor is our salon but have a distributor selling us items like Urban Decay,Mac and the Balm cosmetics. We have cosmetics...

arrive via the mail but items are sealed. If you open those cosmetics we can't refund you and you may have tampered with said cosmetics. This would be a huge problem with County Health department. We were asked about these items and stated at the Flea Market in Mattoon,IL that they were close outs but authentic makeup. We were closing out our "over the counter" makeup lines. Mr. [redacted] asked me repeatedly about them but Ms. [redacted](girlfriend) stated she was purchasing them. Sale completed for $25.00 for 4 items. Mr. [redacted] stated he was a business man and that he never treats people badly. He buys toys at good will and flea markets and resales them to the public. He stated that buying items and reselling them for a profit was illegal.  Mr. [redacted] called the salon on Monday which I wasn't in the salon that day. He called Tuesday multi times but never left a message. Our Voice mail states that we are with clients and will return the call when available. I can't return the call if no voice mail was left. Mr. [redacted] and Ms. [redacted] arrived at our salon in late afternoon. She stated that she was pretty sure that they weren't real. Mr. [redacted] stated yelling and demanding and calling us names. He brought back the palette in question and it was broken and I asked him how that happened. He stated yelling loudly and proceeded to call me names and get in my face. I did ask him to backup and stop yelling. His behavior threaten my clients and my salon girls, as they were afraid he was going to hurt them.  He threaten and stated he was calling the police. Ms. [redacted] was very silent during his barrage of threats, insults and name calling. I have Ms. [redacted] a couple offers to solve the problem. 1.) The local Professional Beauty supply(Cosmo Prof) in Mattoon was caring The Balm cosmetic palette. I would be happy to take her in there and purchase her a new piece.  2.) If she wanted something else, I was happy to provide her with a replacement of something else in the Professional store. 3.) I also told Mr. [redacted] that I had notified the distributor that the outside packaging was correct but there was a misspelled word on the inside of the packaging. I asked if these were Misprints or a problem. 4.) I also posted these same reply's on Facebook since he has been harassing us on Facebook. Mr. [redacted] decided to raise his voice even further and name calling and threats ensued. He called the local Police to have us arrested. They came and asked him the problem, as he was yelling again. The officer asked him to step outside and then asked them to leave. The officer came back inside and stated that he was told to leave and not harass us. He also stated that we had told him that these were close out items sold at a flea market and not at a retail price either. The Police told me to call him back if Mr. [redacted] came back. Mr. [redacted] was very threatening and informed us that he would be back to picket our business. The Police stated that he seemed unhinged to advise them if he returned. Ms. [redacted] remained calm and wanted to inform us that these might be not real but was in no way demanding, yelling or threatening. Ms. [redacted] was offered many solutions to this issue but Mr. [redacted] wouldn't let her take those options. We have donated items that were left to a local charity due to we don't want to have "over the counter" products available in the salon and will only be handling Professional products that are shipped from the company.
