On 6/27/15 at 11:16am, Ms. [redacted] texted me to cancel her Sunday 6/28/15 appointment.  This is the second appointment Ms. [redacted] placed on my schedule for me to fix her hairstyle and canceled for the second time.  She stated that she would not be available until the following Wednesday or Thursday of next week (7/1/15 or 7/2/14).
The next day on 6/28/15 at 9:45am, Ms. [redacted] stated Wednesday or Thursday will not be good for her and wanted to reschedule the hair appointment date out further.  She suggested Sunday 7/5/15.  I replied at 10:07am, "Ok, what time on 7/5/15?" I replied again two days later, 6/30/15 at 9:22am, requesting a time from Ms. [redacted] since she did not tell me an appointment time for 7/5/15.  She did not respond until 7/1/15.  On 7/1/15, she said, "Good morning, sorry I took so long to respond.  You must know my hair is falling out.  Will 1:00pm work for you?"  Due to my busy schedule during the holiday week, I was not able to contact Ms. [redacted] until Friday 7/3/15.  Reading over my text messages, Ms. [redacted] proceeded to complain about her hair again, how she shouldn't have to come back to me to correct her hairstyle, and asked for a refund of $99 which included the hair and the $60 she paid me to style it.  On 7/3/15 at 7:19pm, I reminded her about the multiple appointments she has rescheduled and I have continued to open up my schedule for her.  For the third time, I opened my schedule for Ms. [redacted] to come in on Sunday 7/5/15 at 8:45am.  She proceeded to tell me about her busy schedule, how she feels she should not have to come back for me to correct her hair and how her school classes come first before anything else.
On 7/4/15 at 2:31pm,  I reminded Ms. [redacted] about the original directions and goals we planned for her hair (3 packs of medium to long length but she bought 1 pack of short to medium hair).  I asked her what she would like me to do at this point, since this has been going on since 6/21/15 (13 days).  Ms. [redacted] replies at 2:35pm through text message, "I'm not going through this with you.  There are other ways to handle this situation."  She accused me of getting rude, disrespectful and that I told her to get human hair.  As you can read above, I did not tell Ms. [redacted] to get human hair.  My concern was about the length and the quantity, but since the hair she picked was so costly, I told her I will do the best I can with what she buys. After this conversation, Ms. [redacted] submitted a complaint to the Revdex.com without my knowledge about this situation.  On 7/9/15 at 10:28pm,  I reached out to Ms. [redacted] and said, "I am unsure where the misunderstanding happened.  But I would like to offer you this style to compensate for the inconvenience (Picture 6).  At 10:29pm I sent Picture 6 to Ms. [redacted] through a text message.  At 11:14pm, Ms. [redacted] stated, "I am willing to try again because you did an excellent job before. I don't want to go to the Africans to do my hair and I want to know that I will always have someone I can go to."  Ms. [redacted] agreed for me to do her hair again but with modifications to Picture 6.
On 7/10/15 at 9:33am, Ms. [redacted] asked if I figured out what I intend to do to her hair from Picture 6 and that she needs to do something about her hair in the next couple of days.  At this point I stopped communication with Ms. [redacted] due to the complaint that was submitted from her on 6/21/15 regarding the hair service she received from me.  From the beginning, I offered her a discount for the original hair service, and after her dissatisfaction I continually tried to work with Ms. [redacted] to get her rescheduled so I could correct her concerns. Even after she threatened me with "handling the situation in other ways", I still proceeded to make things right and offer another type of hairstyle, in which she agreed for me to do.  I have lost four hours off my income trying to accommodate Ms. [redacted].  I am asking for $155, which includes a cancellation fee, No Call No Show fee, and the fours I blocked for her two cancelled appointments.  Below are some pictures to give a visual to the complaints:

I am a professional not a child therefore it is very unbecoming of me to go to work with rubber bands in the very front of my hair and hair falling out.
Mr. Dublin did not take the time to explain to me what hair I should purchase even though I mentioned the last time he did my hair was (1) year ago and I did not know what to purchase.  I have every text conversation between Mr. Dublin and myself.
The person that re-did my hair took the time out of their schedule to show me where to purchase the hair, how much to purchase and what my choices were so I could get the hair style I asked for--I mentioned to the stylist just as I did not Mr. Dublin that I did not know what hair to purchase.  Per the previous pictures I submitted the person did my hair as was expected--this person received the same picture that was submitted to  Mr. Dublin before I went to him.
I work 40+ hours per week and I am in school taking (3) courses therefore my time is very limited.  The hairstyle that Mr. Dublin offered as a replacement was not acceptable and once I told him it wasn't he stopped communicating. It was then I found someone else to re-do my hair.  I am content and happy with the results.
Again, I am requesting a full refund for services not rendered and the cost of the human hair--that Mr. Dublin knew he could not use but did not give me an opportunity to exchange it for something else because he used it.

I am responding to the complaint given by [redacted].  Ms. [redacted] has been my client for over a year now.  She contacted me on 6/15/15 via text, requesting  an appointment to get a hairstyle similar to Picture 1, but with modifications. On 6/17/15, I replied, "I can style it like the picture, braids to the crown and the rest of the braids down.  The length and the curl pattern will determine on the type of hair you get. The cost is normally $65, but for slow communication I will charge you $55.  Can you do Sunday 6/21/2015 at 9am?".  She replied 6/17/15, "You are so sweet.  Tell me what kind of hair I need to get, curly like hers?"I replied 6/17/15, "Medium wave and braiding hair."She replied 6/17/15, "Length?" "How many?"I replied 6/19/15, " Three packs and medium to long length".On 6/20/15 she replied, "I am at the store and the clerk is trying to sell me human hair for $37 a pack. Please let me know what I am suppose to get. Thanks."  I replied, "You don't have to get human hair.  Get what you want. I can't text back until this evening. She replied, " Sorry to bother you on the Sabbath, hence me asking all week.  I asked the clerk what you told me and the clerk said it only comes in human hair. 3 packs, $37x3=$111."I replied, "Get one and we'll make it work."  She replied, "Thanks."On 6/21/15 at 2:06pm, I completed Ms. [redacted] hair and she texted me, "I love my hair, the ones at the top could have been braided a little bit more.  At 6:19pm, she is requesting pictures of her hair to show her family.  At 7:08pm, she stated that her daughter complained about her hair and didn't think her hairstyle looked professional, uneven, untrimmed braids, rubber bands sticking out, etc.  On 6/22/15, Ms. [redacted] texted me with some concerns about repairing her hairstyle.  I replied back the same day asking when she would like to come in for repairs.  She texted me on 6/23/15 stating she can come in on Thursday 6/25/15 at 1:00pm.  I confirmed her appointment the same day.On the day of her appointment, Thursday 6/25/15 at 7:55am, she stated, "Good Morning, I need to reschedule.  Can we do tomorrow?  I am available all today. Thanks."  I blocked off two hours of my schedule to cater to her hair needs and she cancelled on the same day, in which I require a 24 hour notice for cancellations ($15 cancellation fee).  This two blocked off time costed potential income. On 6/25/15 at 7:58am, I replied, "Fridays are booked.  I can put you on the waiting list but this Sunday is open."  She replied at 7:59am, "Sorry but you need to make some time for me....". At 8:02am, she states that she is getting annoyed.... going to see if she can make it today at 1:00pm.  I replied at 8:04am, "Friday is my busiest day, there is no available time at this moment. I apologize for any inconvenience and that you're annoyed. Please let me know and have a great day."At 12:29pm I proceed to text Ms. [redacted] to confirm her appointment at 1:00pm again.  I did not get a response from her until 9:45pm 6/25/15.  Now she is considered a no show.  She stated, "My time is really booked.  What day is good for your please?  Thanks."  I replied at 9:56pm, "I can do 3:00pm on Sunday 6/28/15."  Ms. [redacted] agreed and said she will put it on her calender at 10:05pm.  At 10:14pm I replied okay. She proceeded to tell me about her busy schedule, how she feels she should not have to come back for me to correct her hair and how her school classes come first before anything else.On 7/4/15 at 2:31pm,  I reminded Ms. She proceeded to say because of my "actions" and "animosity" she will never come to my shop again. Below are some pictures to give a visual to the complaints:Picture 1- Sample Picture Ms. [redacted] sent on 6/17/15Picture 2- Ms. [redacted] Hair BeginningPicture 3- The Hair Ms. [redacted] bought from hair storePicture 4- Styling HairPicture 5- Finished result of Ms. [redacted] HairPicture 6- Picture to Accommodate Hairstyle Concern

Good Morning,On 7/9/15 10:28 pm--I received a text from Mr. Dublin that read "Hello, I am unsure where the miss understand happen but I'd like to offer you this style to compensate for the inconvenience."  Picture attached 2nd pic.My response 7/9/10 11:14 was my initial request...

of how I would like my hair done and what I paid for.  Picture attached--third picOn 7/10/15 @ 9:33 am, I again reached out to Mr. Dublin with a text that read "Good Morning, Have you figured out what you intent to do so I can make plans please.  I had to take these braids and need to do something with my hair in the next couple of days."To date I have not heard from Mr. Dublin.  I had my hair redone yesterday.  Picture attached--1st pic

I am rejecting Ms. [redacted] response to my rebuttal complaint.  As I stated in the previous complaint, after Ms. [redacted] left my shop and went home, she texted me on 6/21/15 at 2:06pm and I quote, “I love my hair but the ones at the top could have been braided a little bit more.”  If she was concerned about her hair she would have let me know before leaving the shop.  I stated before her initial appointment that I will “make it work” when Ms. [redacted] refused to follow directions in getting three packs of hair in which the style needed to look like the picture.  There is a wide variety of wavy hair curl patterns in weave to choose from, and it was up to Ms. [redacted] to choose the curl pattern she desired for the Alicia Keys hairstyle she sent me.  No matter what type of curl pattern she choose, I was specific in the number of packs of hair to buy and the length (3 packs of hair and Medium to Long length).  I also have every text we shared along with pictures in which I can resend along with our text message conversations.I see that Ms. [redacted] stated that the replacement hairstyle I offered was not acceptable and I stopped communicating with her once she told me it wasn’t acceptable.  That is NOT true.  In picture 1, it clearly shows Ms. [redacted] accepting the hairstyle and willing to reschedule to receive the replacement hairstyle, even though she stated that I was “rude and disrespectful”.  I stopped communicating with her after I receive her Revdex.com Complaint about me in the mail.  I do not appreciate Ms. [redacted] trying to defame my character and my professionalism.  I have been a hair stylist for 11 years and this is the first time a client felt they had to go outside of communicating with me as the stylist. [redacted].  I am asking for $155, which includes a cancellation fee, No Call No Show fee, and the four hours I blocked for her two cancelled appointments.  Below are screenshots of our text message conversations which include:-          - Directions on type of hair to purchase (Pic 1, Pic 1A)-         - Ms. [redacted] loving her hair when she got home after appointment on 6/21/15 (Pic 2)          - Ms. [redacted] agreeing to replacement hairstyle and giving me another try (Pic 3, Pic 3A)
