Stylisics Exteriors had replaced a sealed unit that was part of larger front windowThe whole front window was fine until he replaced this windowThis window sagged and has done damage to lower windowsThe window was sagging in over the winter of XXXX-XXXX
*** *** came out and said window wasn't installed correctly
I have a copy of the limited warranty certificate which is dated May 21, Which states at the top
"PVC Window Components - year Warranty on Material Defects
Hardware - Lifetime Warranty - year Limited Labour
Glass Sealed Units - years from date of manufacture - years Limited LabourUnit replacement within the warranty period are only subject to the balance of the warranty period and does not mean that a further year warranty will be in effect."
The invoice I received is is dated December 11, 2013, HOWEVER, the actual correct window, because the first one was ordered wrong size, install date was on May 12, for the installation of sealed unitI did not pay Stylistic Exteriors until June (which I also have records of)
I have been trying to contact Stylistics since January of in order to fix the windowIt seems as though he has avoided the situation until his "warranty period" was over
If the warranty certificate I have (which doesn't stay whom it is from) is in fact from *** it states "Improper installation of product will void warrantyWindows and doors must be installed plumb, square, and shimmed properlySills must be wedged to prevent sagging causing defective operation." Then Stylistics has voided my warrantyStylistics had cut the previous frame/braces to fit in a window too large

Hello *** Received your email reInvoice for the replacement of failed SEALED unit at customers residence
This invoice was for replacement of part of the window in question lower thermal pane onlythe window it self is over yrsold, which as I stated before was manufactured by *** windows (***) (1/yrs ago)
And yesthe lower thermal pane is covered by warrenty as customer is aware, as we have already repalced it once since it was installed last year (notice sticker C.Inot ***), However this unit is not the part of the window she is now having problems with that par is over yrs oldPlease view diagram to help you better understand

I'am not disputing window being installed 12yrs agoI had no problem with window until stylistic replaced sealed unit
He already replaced sealed unit because sealed unit was wrong size to small to fit window, stylistic Exteriors measured seal unit wrong and glass had fish eyes in glass defective glass
After replacing sealed unit the problem started with the windowThe sealed unit above the installed, seal unit started falling down out of frame of windowBecause of his improper installation of sealed unit caused the problem
I have had different glass companies to look at the seal unitThe companies said the sealed unit could be the wrong size or improperly installed which is causing the problem with the top seal unit
The header between the two sealed unit is sagging because when he removed sealed unit didn't support the top of sealed unit properlyUnder the header which caused the problem
